Let me tell you that Huck’s makes great sandwiches and subs. But DO NOT sleep on their pizza! Holy moly. It is GOOD. The crust is so delicious and simple and perfect… the toppings are high quality and well portioned. I love their food but I’m obsessed with their pizza.

I am completely blown away by this place and not in a good way!. This place used to be the standard for great and delicious subs! Now it’s awful with super skimpy subs that are extremely over priced and a free attitude to go with it. The steak and cheese was very bland and didn’t even fill the sub roll. The Italian sub was nothing more then a joke. Pretty sad you can get a better sub at Market Basket. I remember a time when this place filled their subs with great tasting products and greeted you with a smile. Now it seems it’s a bother for them when you walk in. The steak also had alot of gristle and had almost a dirty grill taste. The fry oil needs to be changed more as they tasted like old grease. So many places to get subs in this town and everyone knows Hucks used to be the place. To bad big thumbs down for me.

Provided us with cold fries. Requested new ones. They refried the same ones. After which, the nasty lady with red, long hair snapped at me, “ma’am, it’s going to take 15 minutes for new fries.” Wow, great customer service! Then the young gentleman brought me my nicely refried French fries within one minute of my returning them. I’m shocked at the nasty service as well as reusing French fries I had already had at my table. That’s got to be against some health code. Absolutely disgusting as well as just an awful human being. She treated me badly as a customer as well as the young counter person that was working with her. When he went to her with my complaint about the fries, she got all red in the face and snapped, “Do I look like the fry person?” Nasty, nasty human being.

I run one of the largest rental companies in Wolfeboro and will NOT be sending my guests here. This place is a catastrophic waste of time. The food is mediocre at best and the service is abhorrent. I waited for 35 minutes after being told it would only take 10 minutes to make my meatball sub. After having waited for 35 minutes turns out my sub was ready after 10 minutes and is now cold because no one let me know it was ready. I was standing in the waiting room the whole time and even made eye contact several times, but no one let me know my food was ready.

Whenever we want a quick meal, we call ahead to Huck’s Hoagies and it is always ready when we arrive. The Steak and Cheese hoagies are very good, and the pizzas are good also. Prices are very fair for the quantity of food received. Not fancy, but ample seating for indoor dining.

I never In a million years would have thought I would write a bad review about Hucks. My favorite spot to grab a hoagie since I was a kid growing up in Wolfeboro. scrounging for quarters to buy a Buffalo chicken sub with provolone and blue cheese. I Knew the previous owners personally and it was always a delight to stop in beyond just the great sandwiches.

Love the spicy chicken sandwich – if it’s not on the special board ask them to make it – it’s my favorite thing on the menu! Everyone is working as hard and efficiently as they can. They just rolled out online ordering which makes things so slick. We order online, walk in, grab our meal from the pick-up rack, and just like that we have our lunch/dinner. We love Huck’s!
