Love finding places like this! Traveling through Illinois and this small(not really) diner pub shows up at the right time. The food was just superb. For my sandwich, I wish the portions were a bit bigger, but what was on the plate was absolutely delicious! Every member of my party truly enjoyed their meal. So if you are driving and see this place or want to take a road trip, it’s definitely worth the trip. O and, by the way, be sure to check out the weather station it might be more accurate than the meteorologists!

Good place for a quick bite. There is a restaurant and a separate room with a bar. It is the only place around but does not take advantage since their prices are reasonable. The decor plays upon its unique location near (not on) the river.

I love the food I tried the fried green tomatoes for the first time. The restaurant looks small but it’s actually pretty big . It has a dining area a two patios and a bar. The service was good. The only thing that needs Improvement is the bathroom it smells. It is definitely worth trying.

Delicious delicious food and such a relaxing environment. Their catfish is incredible and the southern greens are nice and salty, well cooked. My girlfriend ordered the German burger and it was great. She has a gluten allergy and they were very careful to accommodate.

I ordered the catfish plate and I couldn’t stop eating. The onion rings were the best. Jake was the one cooking that day. Service was exceptional. I love hanging out here for a quick bite or dinner. I’m a teacher and last year, Huckleberry’s donated free pizzas for my class. . Very much appreciated!!
