Great family restaurant! The food is delicious. The service is excellent.

We were a large party dropping in without reservations but they seated us quickly. They must have been short staffed as only 1 server took care of our huge group. I had ordered the chicken and dumplings as I hadn’t had it in a long time. I was last served and was quite shocked at that occurring as with chicken & dumplings, mashed potatoes and Mac & cheese it’s not like they had to prepare it just for me. Dumplings was more like thick noodles but had a great flavor. Others commented the catfish was served hot and fresh and the fried green tomatoes were amazing.

We stopped cause of the recommendation of the local Best Western worker. Let me tell you, best food I’ve had from a restaurant in a long time. Everything was cooked perfect. Was a little long on wait but perfection takes time. Definitely recommend and will come back anytime we are on town!

Excellent service. We stopped in on our way from Ohio to North Carolina. Our server Kennedy was awesome, so we decided to stop again on our way back through. Cameron was our server and he was awesome too. The food was good and plenty of it, but the service was 2nd to none. They were so friendly and welcoming. Our group of 6 was sure impressed and would highly recommend Huckleberry’s to anyone.

My wife and I had lunch. We ordered one appetizer, she had one of the specials of the day and I had a burger and fries, plus drinks. The food was mediocre at best her country steak was very plain, my burger was dry as dry can be. For the total of $47 you think you would have a fairly good meal. Not to mention the service was very slow, considering there was only one other table with people. Several tables with dirty dishes . Needless to say we probably won’t be back.

Let me tell you that it’s more than five stars, my family and I went there for lunch and it’s the best place to eat for lunch. And the food over there it has a lot of different types of food and the waiters they are absolutely funny and it’s a small restaurant near the Louisa area and if you want to go Louisa you definitely go there and try it out for yourself. You’ll love it as much as I did.

The prime rib is definitely something you don’t wanna eat. They give you some random smoked pork .. they will not refund you in any way and tell you to kick rocks

The service was ok, nothing really great about it. The food was awful, the only thing worth anything was the French fries. Small portions over priced. And the food was so greasy that it was not consumable.

Well their half a chicken came out just as described ; crispy on the outside (amazing!) and moist on the inside.

Went there after family funeral, food was great. Service was great . Will definitely be back. Don’t pass this one up.
