Our meal was absolutely amazing! Started with the Chai Flip as my adult beverage and we shared the Kottbullar and the Roasted Onion Fleischkuekle. Both were fantastic. For entrees, my husband had the Schweinebratten and I had the Buttermilk Chicken Schnitzel. The flavors were amazing and the melted butterkase on the chicken was unexpected and the perfect finishing touch. I can’t say enough good things about the meal, the service and the atmosphere. We are on our way home from a vacation out west and this was by far the best meal of our two week adventure. Unfortunately, we live out of state, and just had this one night in Bismarck. They have a small menu but they execute their dishes well. Everything we had was delicious and my husband loved his cocktail. My only complaint and why I gave the restaurant 4 instead of 5 stars is because they were sold out of a few appetizers, entrees, and desert. We had other family members go and they said that the same thing happened to them. Experience would have been great had they had enough ingredients in stock.

Birthday dinner on the deck. Our server was really good and attentive. Food was generally good. They’re obviously struggling with staffing issues and with keeping menu items stocked. They were out of much of what our party/group hoped to eat. When choosing from the menu, be sure to have a 2d and 3d choice in mind.

This is my family’s go-to dinner spot. The service is always friendly and top notch. The food is easily some of the best in the state. You can tell there is passion, intentionality, and quality behind the food and drinks. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to this place several times before and enjoyed it. My sister made reservations for 5 today. I arrived early and checked in. My sister, mom and niece arrived about 5 minutes later. We were seated then completely ignored. My mom had to ask the hostess for water as no one had acknowledged us. We sat at the table for 15 minutes before getting up to leave. The place was not busy and we saw a number of servers standing around. My mother told the hostess we were leaving because no one would even acknowledge us. No apology or anything. This place is definitely not worth all the hype they receive!

Absolutely loved dining here! We sat outside, temperature was perfect, our server was welcoming, knew and loved the menu she was serving, was so kind, and checked in on us the perfect amount of times. The ambiance of outdoor dining was wonderful. And better yet, they allow furry kids!

Nice ambiance! Indoor seating needs to be smarter to better accommodate and minimize the long wait. My schnitzel was just the mother clucker dressed up (not schnitzel), but the spatzel and signature drink were both excellent! Enjoyed with my girlfriends.

Such an amazing addition to Bismarck! Can’t beat the views from the Huckleberry House patio. Staff is friendly, interior is thoughtfully and beautifully designed. The drink and food menus are refreshingly modern for Bismarck, which both my husband and I love and appreciate coming from larger cities with diverse cusine.

Visited the Huckleberry House this evening. A delightful experience with the food and service! The scenery was beautiful! We had a wonderful server named Patrick who was polite, efficient and a credit to young people who are working in the restaurant industry. I tried the Huckleberry drink (very good!) Patrick patiently explained the Norwegian menu to us, and suggested I try the walleye, IT WAS DELICIOUS!! Definitely want to return to try another of their signature drinks and try new menu items to be added in the future. I guarantee a trip to The Huckleberry House will not disappoint!!

We love coming to Huckleberry House for date night! The food is always amazing. It comes out picture perfect and tastes fantastic. The service is top notch! Even just being able to watch how they make some of their craft cocktails is so cool! Their patio is the best in Bismarck with the views of the river! 100% recommend!
