This is THE place to get a blue crab quesadilla! Far too often, crabakes or the like have tons of filler and not enough crab, but Huckleberry is very generous with the crab in their quesadilla! Very delicious. I paired this with a watermelon salad and I have to write that it is very refreshing, especially on a warm, summer day. The combo of the watermelon salad and blue crab quesadilla is perfect and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you order them together.

These are all the four star things I love about Huckleberry. I’m thrilled that this truck offers fresh, conscientious food choices. They are always changing things up with new and original ideas. I love their watermelon salad and their fish sandwich with fries is to die for. Oh, and they have the BEST fries in all of Austin – and they are super generous! Another four star aspect is the staff and owners – always smiling, even when it’s scorching outside. I don’t know how they do it! They also have really fun events that attract a diverse and cool crowd. Love these guys!!

The seafood is awesome, it is so fresh that it’s hard to believe you’re not right on the ocean. I feel the price for the fries is a little high at 8 dollars but other than that everything is great. Plus the atmosphere of being between Still Austin distillery and St. Elmo’s brewing adds to the experience!

I was really hype to try this place out but it just really fell flat for me. My fish filet was so thin it was comical. Not worth $16 with the fries added on. Fries were good and I liked the sauce on the sandwich but the star of the show was absolutely missing.

The vibe is nice..food truck patio nestled between the distillery. Unfortunately, the food fell flat. Everything was hot and fresh but lacked flavor. Shrimp burger tasted like fish..I assume it’s the same grease. Fried green tomatoes didn’t taste like anything. Service was really great and friendly.

My friends were out on a chilly night, and we chose to eat at Huckleberry. I thought I was fixated on the seafood meal, but for some reason I gravitated to the smash burger, my friend copied me and ordered the same. We sat down outdoors where the tables were organized well with heaters, which I was very thankful for. When we got our food my friend and I both looked up at each other as we took our first bite and both described how good the burger was. I have to say, one of the best burgers I’ve had in Austin, Good job!!!! I actually didn’t get the seafood plate, because I haven’t really had great seafood here in Austin, being from the coast I used to eat fish twice a week. With a place like huckleberry on how well the burger came out, and great the service was I more than sure their Seafood is on point, just like the service. One of the best food trucks I’ve been to as well!

Best lunch decision we’ve made in a WHILE! We got the Fish & Shrimp Sando w/ the Crab Quesadillas and holy mackerel were they all absolutely delicious! Couldn’t be happier with the location of the truck as well. Plenty of seating area that’s out of the sun and free water provided as well!
