This place was absolutely awesome. Went here for lunch based on the positive reviews. Vittles were awesome, and the catfish and shrimp were top notch. Will definitely be back!!

Our waitress Brenda was outstanding! Not only was she was patient and kind she made us feel very welcome thank you Brenda for taking care of us. Furthermore the food is divine if you want some good home cooked southern/seafood this is the place for you and honestly I think it’s one of the top rated restaurants in Piegon Forge! Oh they also got this cute gift shop when you walk in. So if you are looking for a good time and good food come on down to Huck Finn’s Catfish

LOCALLY OWNED! (If your looking to avoid the chains this is a great option). Its good, downhome southern cooking! My favorite item is onion strings! You NEED to order those! Everything is really good and a lunch menu is offered!

Really cool themed restaurant, the sides were amazing and the staff were super friendly! The trout I suggest getting grilled, the fried was a little too much for the smaller filet. Chicken and fries were all good.

OH MY GOSH. Incredible food. YOU are served white beans, coleslaw, hush puppies, sliced onions and pickles BEFORE you even order and get unlimited amounts of THESE as long as you don’t order a shared meal. If you do share a meal I believe the fixings are 9.95 add on. Great catfish and fried chicken livers. Everything we ate was delicious.

Party of 8. We were seated as soon as everyone arrived and were inside the building. Waitress was awesome. If you’re getting the vittles, don’t bother with the “all you can eat” meals. You won’t want more than one plate. You’re too full! We had okra and fried green tomatoes as appetizers. So good! The catfish was bland, dry, and hardly meaty. The chicken was crispy and juicy. Was really looking forward to the catfish, but it didn’t live up to expectations.

I’m not mad. Nothing had happened. The food was blah. Four deep fried items for $25 plus dry mashed potatoes. I wanted to love it. I wanted to find my new place to eat. Melamine plates worn out with an building that is worn out. The whole place is living in the glory days of the 90s. The building, decor, outside, and inside are n out and tired. The catfish was hard, dry, and tasteless. The only thing I enjoyed was the beans. I’m not hard to please! Essentially, they deep fry restaurant supply fish and chicken, fries, and hush puppies. There is no home cooking. But, people come in and give them $30 a pop for about $.075 worth of food and sweet tea. Someone could come along and put love, care, and effort into a catfish house and easily get my business.

Was super excited for this place visiting from St Louis I love catfish. I thought the catfish was mediocre at best not seasoned my girlfriend had to put salt/pepper on everything I mean coleslaw catfish and the beans. And for the price was way high compared here in St Louis. My girlfriend also said the fried catfish I make is 10× better. Really disappointed.

Upon visiting Pigeon Forge for vacation, we found this gem on Google Maps with many reviews stating this restaurant had some of the best catfish they have ever had. Seeing this, we had to come see for ourselves and we were not let down. To start off, the restaurant itself is very beautiful and rustic inside. When we arrived, the waitress was extremely friendly and greeted us with a huge smile. We were sat down quickly as we had got there right at opening time to avoid the crowds. The waitress brought out a variety of sides in which they were “all-you-can-eat” (I believe we opted for this and it was well worth). The sides were all very delicious, and we could not get enough of the hushpuppies.
