Authentic at it’s best! The meal and drink blew me away! I felt at home with the lovely service! Laura, the waitress and the other lady (I apologize I forgot her name) was amazing! Definitely worth the trip up to Dunedin to enjoy a delicious Mexican comfort food!!

I love it! I’ve only had a few dishes, but everything is always quality and delicious. The Huarache de bistec and the Huarache Al pastor are very tasty and plentiful. Service is great.

My first time having Huarache, and it was delicious! I got the spicy red and green sauces – Just the perfect amount of zip and heat, but not painful. That’s not a green pepper, that’s cactus! We also got chicken fajitas. Very generous portions. We had enough for leftovers for the next day. The staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Really incredible and authentic Mexican food. We came here for my dads birthday for some drinks and snacks, we ordered some margaritas, mine had a coronita in it which was super refreshing and not too sweet, I recommend! I also ordered a michelada and wow- as a michelada connoisseur, this is one of the best ones I’ve ever had in my life. I got mine with Pacifico and their special mix is amazing, especially with the chamoy rim and special chili powder. For food we ordered tacos al pastor, chicken quesadilla, and a bowl of menudo. Everything was so authentic and delicious. Also really exceptional service from Veronica, she was great and made my dad feel so special on his birthday. Really some of the best Mexican food/drinks I’ve ever had. Great place, will be stopping by for a michelada any time I’m in town!

Have been to this truly traditional Mexican restaurant many times and figured I needed to leave a review. The food is always great, tasty, hot and flavorful. I’m a vegetarian but there is plenty of things for me to eat. I always recommend it to anyone looking for really great Mexican in Dunedin.

Meh. Typical semi-run down Mexican place. Stand alone building. Indoor and outdoor seating. Waitress was not particularly friendly, and a group of men in the dining room were vaguely menacing. But, I would endure all of this, if only, IF ONLY the food were good. I wanted it to be good. Tried it two separate times now to make sure. Queso here is orange and thick (velveeta?). In my world, queso should be thin-ish and white. Have tried salsa and chips. The salsa has so much oregano, I’d swear it’s pizza sauce. Entrees- we ordered taquitos, and two kinds of enchiladas. The taquitos were fine, but without good queso and salsa, what do you do with them? The enchiladas were made with mozzarella cheese- they say so right on the menu. I thought this would be ok, but it’s not. Again, it gives me an Italian vibe. The sauce on one was much like barbecue sauce, the other was the house “salsa”, but listed on the menu as “rancheras”. Lastly, the rice and beans were fine, but at this point, I was over the whole thing. IMO, try somewhere else.
