Went in on a Saturday at 4PM. My son and I were the only customers. Half of the lights were off and the food was old and hard. We waited maybe 20 minutes thinking new food would be coming out but it never did. The two workers were sitting in a booth watching something on a phone talking to each other. This place has gone down hill over the past year. I tend to not write negative reviews but after so many bad visits it’s hard not to say something. I really hope they turn that place around.

I ate supper here last night, or rather I tried to eat here. I are here about 3months ago, the food was acceptable, filling and average taste. Last night however was a whole different experience. The food was dry from being in the steam table way too long. The teriyaki chicken- on-a-stick was so chewy I had to take a drink with each bite. The lo main was undercooked, chewy, and tasteless. All in all, I’ll not be returning.

Walked in for the lunch buffet about 2:45pm. There weren’t many options on the buffet. My husband got the buffet. Said everything was luke warm and had an old taste to it. I got a menu and ordered Sesame chicken and 2 egg rolls. I was extremely disappointed. I ordered egg rolls because I like them hot and fresh. Instead they just grabbed them off the buffet and they were cold and tasted like dirty water. My chicken came with a crab ragoon which was also grabbed off the buffet. My chicken tasted horrible. Im not sure if they redropped chicken or if the fryer oil was super dirty. But either way I couldn’t eat it. It was tough and nasty. The restraunt looked dirty too. $25 later and we both left hungry. Do yourself a favor and just skip eating here.

Used to be a lot better.. any more I go in for lunch and there’s a lack of selection available and lots of the time the food is cold. If you have the time you’re better off going to Joy wok in Maryville.. but then again that’s a 40 minute drive.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had. Wouldn’t ask anyone to go there. The so-called buffet had 2 items. They said they were too busy, what did I expect. 6 other people making a busy night I guess.

We should’ve left after we walked in, but we were hungry. There’re wasn’t much food on the buffet. It took them a while to replenish the bar. There wasn’t any fried rice. Just a yellow rice that wasn’t flavorful and wasn’t fully cooked. The food was salty. The place was dirty. I wasn’t expecting high quality Chinese food in Iowa but I thought it would at least be similar to Chinese food in a mall food court. Do your wallet and stomach a favor and skip this place.
