Just a little gem of a dying breed. The liquor is in handles. The front of the bar is carpeted. Theres wheel of fourtune and jeporady on if you go at the right time. Chow mein and rangoons are fantastic.

The restaurant was very clean and the bartender was very friendly too. I tried the crab Rangoons and thought they were very fresh and delicious. As for the decor the restaurant is dated but don’t judge a book by its cover.

This was by far the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Was picking up the food for a Sunday family gathering and the place was absolutely filthy not to mention the parking lot needed to be repaved back in 1985. Lawsuit waiting to happen there. That and the dart boards and kids play dungeon where the dining room probably used to be should have told me to run away. … but I wasn’t paying … My grandparents spent $100 on dried out chicken tenders the lo mein had an awful taste we could not describe the fried rice was tasteless with pork bits that were grey and the crab Rangoon was nearly flat and filled with nothing the Chicken wings were good. The beef chow mein we order had no ground beef in it … there was no one dining in or picking up orders mind you this is a Sunday …so the place should have been packed at lunch time. I was baffled as to why it took almost an hour to cook and pack our food, I arrived when they said it would be ready but waited 25 minutes at that filthy place watching an old woman scratch “herself” the whole time in front of the tv screen and a few people at the bar playing keno and buying lottery tickets by the handful as I kept having to walk back in from mostly waiting in the safety of my car … one and done.

It’s an old bldg, but absolutely THE BEST pork strips!! Our server, Ben, was polite and funny. Limited menu due to covid. Family operated. This is a destination spot for freshly prepared food!!! This will be a stop every time in Swansea.

Hot Tin is a unique gem! The place is like a step back into the 70’s. It’s a family owned and staffed place and the friendly service shows this. They have the most amazing sticky wings and boneless spare ribs around. If you want an amazing dinner it’s a must stop in Swansea!!

Do not get thrown away by its external appearance and even inside. The place is small, has been there since 1970, but the food is great, drinks too, and the attendance unique and friendly. We enjoyed the food, relaxed with a few drinks, and even bought a power ball ticket. All in one place. Give them a try if you are near Swansea, Massachusetts. Thank you Hoy Tin.

Best Chinese food I’ve had in years! The lo mein was so good and the dumplings were lights out. The boneless ribs were perfect and the sticky wings were delicious
