I’ve been here a few times. I’ve gotten the howling wolf burrito every time. I do have to ask for no guac though because it’s pretty gross at this place, there’s giant chunks of nasty onion in it which is a huge turnoff. The queso sauce for the burrito is top top. My old lady loves the chips here as well. Always had good experience with the staff.

Been here a few times now and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service, delicious food, and yummy selection of craft beer. Zero issues bringing the little ones here as well. Family friendly! Definitely on my list of must visits!

Absolutely wonderful! I had tacos delivered for our arrival to the Salem area to skip cooking the first night. They were amazing! Everyone loved them and they were delivered so neatly packaged.. absolutely great. Truly made our first night a whole lot easier. I recommend anyone in the area to order from them. They were absolutely wonderful with fresh ingredients and I could not have asked for a better experience.

I’ve been here twice – the first time, I had a shrimp burrito and it was amazing. However, the second time, when ordering for myself and the rest of the family online, our order came out terrible. My shrimp burrito was too salty and didn’t have any of the mango salsa, and the rest of the (chicken) burritos were also all missing salsa. To be honest, it made Chipotle seem like a really good alternative, so I won’t be coming back.

I eat here very often when I’m in the area. From take out to actually dinning in. The food is really good when they actually get the order right. It’s sad the the kitchen is literally steps from the counter and somehow my order has been screwed up numerous times. The manager I believe (Short fella with glasses) is really nice and is always looking to rectify any mistakes. I just wish the female cashier who is always rude and ignorant 4/8/19 8pm can take some pointers from him. Place has tons of potential if they can just get the kinks and counter help right.

Good flavors but the burrito was 75% rice. Would have been nice to get some more protein, only had about two bites of meat in mine. It wasn’t bad just would have been more considerate to be more evenly portioned.

I’m not sure how this has 4 stars. Maybe we caught it on an off night but a simple taco dinner was terrible.

Generally poor to mediocre. The food was what it was, although the guacamole tasted like nothingness. We weren’t given a couple of things we ordered (no beans…rough for the vegan) and the tofu was just an unflavored slab in the middle of a burrito.

Qdoba and Chipotle have shrinkflated their burritos. They don’t do shrinkflation at Howling Wolf, thus rendering them the singular legitimate option for burritos in the Marblehead/Swampscott area.

Eaten there six times and been disappointed every time. Extremely inconsistent. The fish taco was THE worst Mexican fast food meal EVER and while I was leaving one of the staff asked me how I liked it. When I told him it was terrible he started laughing. LAUGHING! I asked him why and he said, “It means we’ll have to fix it.” No kidding. Chipotle and Qdoba have it figured out, but Howling Wolf just gets worse. After I was told my food was ready the chef had to go back and redo it, without explanation. Avoid at all costs.
