I have come to this place since I was a child. Howard’s is one of those old fashioned mom and pop burger joints. I drive from out of town just to have one of their icecream cones (which is btw the best icecream ever) and delicious burgers.

The girl at the counter was friendly. I had the steak sandwich, it was alright. The onion rings were the best part of my meal. I also ate a bite of my friend’s Texas toast and that was really yummy!

Truth is burgers could be spectacular but as many previous reviews say they seem to over cook them. Been here a few times and everything my burger is dry. This time I ordered the steak fingers and they redeemed themselves with the fresh battered real steak.

Firstly, I ordered the large tater tot (almost $4) and got a whopping 13 tots. The burgers might as well have been beef jerky. They were devoid of all moisture and reminiscent of eating sand. Blown away. I cant believe they served me a handful of tater tots for $4. Literally a handful. I’ll be taking my business to Super Burger or Burger King.
