Not sure if we got them on an off night or what, but the food wasn’t great. We got pulled pork, brisket and ribs, all were dry. The flavor was good, but it was not enough to beat out the dryness. The Mac and cheese was good and so was the hush puppies and funky fries. Service was good and the atmosphere was nice as well. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was hot.

Such an awesome place with a great atmosphere, stopped in for a quick bite after walking downtown for the day. The food was hot and fresh,and I was lucky enough to get a piece of brisket straight out of the smoker. I would highly recommend the cheese curds they are the perfect amount of spice. 5 stars all day!

We were here for the first time opening night November 16th, 2019. I had the same pork bbq plate (with the blueberry bbq sauce, fried green beans and Mac and cheese) as I had on that same night as this evening. The great thing is they have kept it the same. It is sooo choice! A great delight!

Really nice spot. Not the very best pulled pork I’ve ever had but still VERY good and priced pretty low. Hard to find a 10 dollar lunch these days. I’d recommend the smoked Mac and cheese as a side, it’s extremely good and legitimately smoky. Atmosphere is nice, service was very friendly and attentive. Everyone seemed actually pretty happy to be there.

I think it’s a perfect spot for a light meal. It’s a college place in a college town! Very good service from kind gals. I thought it was smart to have the kitchen staff deliver the food. Prices are so good! Loved my chicken taco on taco Tuesday!

We got a pulled pork plate and mac and cheese with pulled pork topping. Hubby loved the bbq plate, and the Mac and cheese dish was out of this world! I highly recommend the blueberry chipotle sauce as well!

This was our first visit to Howard Street (thought we are often in Boone). We peaked in the windows early and a nice young man came to the door and invited us back when they opened at noon. The food was delicious (ribs for hubby; salad with chicken for me) and the drinks were fun – they had a Pride week special for silly colored adult beverages. We enjoyed them :). The service was friendly and attentive. We ate on the rooftop and enjoyed views of the mountains and a cool Boone breeze. We will be back!
