I had not been here for a really long time. I stopped in on a whim last Monday for lunch. The lunch special came with an incredible amount of food. I also shared some potstickers and those were lovely. A lot has changed since I have been there last but staff was super friendly and there is a story of how the business got started that is very interesting. Great place to grab lunch!

The place was pretty busy on this Sunday but it seems as they are short-handed like everywhere else. It’s a big place and our server ( Louie) was running his butt off.

Single worst customer service experience ever. My son makes $14 an hour and went to get a $15 meal with crunchy undercooked rice and tough chicken. He loves Asian food and is not a big complainer. He got his name “in a red book for credit” but had no idea what that means.

Was good, you get a lot for what you are paying for sure. Sweet and Sour chicken seems like it is the main meal here, a hit, a classic.

Good! Not amazing tho. Enjoyed the appetizer chicken wings and shrimp toast the best. Hot tea served ready with lots of refills. Cream cheese wontons weren’t as enjoyable. Would be better if crispier, less chewy, and if they were crab Rangoon instead. Orange chicken was very orange tasting, almost too much so. Wasn’t served hot, but they re-heated it for us.

Seems like House of Wong has been around forever! We moved away, so this was a nostalgic return. The food was good, the service great. The curry chicken was Luke-warm, but everything else was perfectly prepared. Although desert was included with our meals, pretty much only ice cream and coconut cream pie was available, and they were still going to open another 90 minutes or so. A really diverse menu with lots of options, but we stuck with the Asian food this time. Maybe next time the turkey dinner?

Very busy place, EXCELLENT food, terrific service. Waiter stayed with us and chatted after our meal. This was our first time returning after 30 years as my father had fond memories of this place. The waiter made us feel like family. Tons of food, we had plenty to take home and enjoy again the next day. The servers were working really hard to get through the busy rush hour.

Rice was crunchy, chicken was tough. When I went to get a refund, they refused store credit, harassed me and said they could not do anything since I had eaten a few bites of the food, which I had brought back to show I had barely touched it. Avoid this place like the plague, even some ex-employees I know say the management is horrible. This is a restaurant stuck in the past relishing old glory when its struggling to stay afloat. The managers are just arrogant and don’t understand basic customer service.

Food was good, but a little different from what we are use to. Sweet ‘n Sour pork was really good. The Pad Thai was very good, but I would have liked a little more flavor. The chicken wings are great, so crispy and good.

As a Roseville resident heard A LOT about this legendary place but the menu kind of overwhelmed me. Finally tried it and now I know why there is such a fuss. The food is delicious, the service is excellent and I love that the cooks own the place. It’s my new go to Chinese joint. My wife doesn’t care for Chinese so it’s nice to have some delicious mid western comfort food options!
