Authentic home cooked Mexican food with a Southern California flare. This is comfort food at its best! Perfect for take out, but we also have sit down available. We are a family and budget friendly place to dine! La Casa De Sabor has been open for over a sixteen years, started by Doreen Rangel and has been family operated since. Every thing is homemade from the beans, rice meat, and salsas, these are the recipes pasted down from generation to generation. We will continue to evolve and bring fresh, new, and quality food to Columbia River Gorge. Many customers have said You guys make the best burrito in the Gorge! We are certainly flattered by such compliments, but only your taste buds can be the judge of that.

Love the food. It’s not your typical rice and been plates but some fun options like a paleo bowl or mushroom tacos. Everything I’ve had has been really good here. I end up going during off times but never a wait to eat.

Average prices and Average food. Be ready to wait for your food and be kind to the wait staff. We went before looking at Christmas lights. They forgot plastic forks for the food. The beans and rice are super bland and the pork and chicken tacos were decent but not great. Enchiladas were better. I’m not sure if I will return. Nice server last night. Great for anyone w/a mild desire for mexican.

House of Flavor is a must stop in Stevenson. Homemade chips, house made salsas and sauces and a whole list of delicious menu items makes this one of the best restaurants in town and a favorite for the locals. Customer service is spot on and the restaurant environment is warm and inviting. Family friendly. Long tables for large parties.

I had lunch here in the middle of the day during the week when the restaurant was relatively empty. One thing that stood out to me was unconventional but perhaps refreshing was the music playing was 80s/90s hits. The service and the veggie nachos were good.

If you’re looking for vegan food in Stevenson look mo further! This place is absolutely delicious, super friendly, and very understanding about cross contamination issues.

I wasn’t very impressed. We were the only customers, so the food came quickly. But neither the burrito nor the quesadillas were very flavourful. We were also expecting a little bit bigger portion sizes.

After having an awesome, low-priced meal with friendly service, I am surprised to see this place has only 4.2 stars. Our experience was great- we got a build your own burrito with amazing green enchilada sauce and a couple street tacos and were stoked. The person who took our order was very sweet.

Terrible, gave us paper plates. Didn’t have beef and only a few beers. I was in with a crowd of six coworkers. Salsa wasn’t flavorful at all, I mean they spray it out of a ketchup bottle! All six people were not impressed at all. We were the only ones eating there, which now I understand why. Service was ok, but you must order up front then sit down. Guess it’s a COVID thing maybe, but dumb. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

We arrived at the restaurant on a Saturday during the long Fourth of July weekend. As we arrived there we could see that there was no customers and that had us worried. Because it was during the lunchtime rush. The place is clean, the bathroom for at least the men’s is very clean and very nice although the urinal was not working.
