I enjoyed House City because they were very friendly and their food was pretty good and was reasonably affordable! I had the shrimp fried rice which was a bit different for me because I was not use to the yellow rice. Overall it was ok. My husband had the orange chicken with the lo mein noodles I believe they were called. He loved every bit of it! The chicken wings were the best for me! They were perfectly seasoned! And the onions set them off! Now, the one thing we forgot to take a picture of was the Strawberry Lemonade! OMG! The lady that works behind the bar and was waiting on us makes them herself and she puts real strawberry and Lemons inside, the cup rim is dipped in sugar, and she puts a whole Strawberry on the top of the cup! That was the best! We literally went back just to order those drinks and nothing else. It was non alcoholic. I enjoyed this place and definitely will visit again in the near future!

Just not a fan. Definitely did not have the Chinese taste. My order was missing several items. The restaurant refund 10.00 back to my card but that doesn’t replace too many people not enough food or going back out on a cold winter night. Portion sizes large but lack Chinese taste and flavor. For these reason I won’t be back. Giving a two because my daughter liked the broccoli

I recently ordered lunch specials to go from House City Chinese Restaurant and was impressed by the quality of the food. The portions were generous, the flavors were amazing and the price was very good, 10.25 for a lunch with soup, fried rice and Mongolian chicken. The staff was friendly and my order was ready quickly. I highly recommend their lunch specials to anyone looking for a delicious and convenient meal on the go

Order Kung Po Chicken takeout. Immediately knew when they handed it to me, the portion was extremely small. Went through McDonald’s drive thru and got a 10pc chicken nugget meal, large fry and drink for $1 more. Ate them both. It was really more a child’s portion; not adult size. Tasted more like chicken cashew and was more veggies. Very bland. Likely to not return.

The food was mediocre. Pepper chicken is one of my favorites. Theirs was overly peppered to the point I couldn’t eat it. The seasme chicken was overcooked and bland. The teriyaki on a stick was hard and gray on the inside. They had little options and out of most of the food. Our server was very nice to us, but was too concerned about putting on her makeup when we first got there, she was talking to another customer and swearing so much and loudly to the point, my young child heard every cuss word. One of the employees was eating food while bringing food out to place in the buffet. Both me and my child are sick with food poisoning. First time visiting and I will definitely not be going back. I don’t want a discount either. Very disappointed. I think a health inspector needs to visit because of how sick we are after eating there.

Order chicken with broccoli and 2 general tso. The food taste good but my portion seemed very small for the price I paid. After seeing the reviews kinda disappointed paying almost 10 per meal and still seeing the bottom of the container before a bite also ordered extra broccoli wouldn’t really say it’s extra.. would go back for a better portion size. Also one order had no broccoli no veggies. Called and they are going to attempt to fix next visit im super appreciative of that upping my stars for sure

Took a half an hour to get my order of garlic chicken ready. Food was ok. Nothing special. My major complaint was the take out containers. The aluminum plate/bowl with paper lid was crushed and leaking before I could drive home. A mess for sure. The young lady cashier/waitress was very nice ,she did offer me a drink. I assume because of the long wait.
