It’s a great place to get a good meal, great service, and good, cold beer. Really enjoyed my first visit with my Mom and Brother so much that we went back again the next day. Linda was a hoot and took great care of us. Food was awesome, especially the fried cheese curds. Hillsboro Craft Beers on tap were cold and tasty. Really enjoyed my visits and will definitely go back the next time I am in town.

We go here every month like clockwork. It’s a very nice environment. Simple classic America food, nice little salad bar and soup, kids menu, bar, and / or restaurant area.

Was extremely disappointed in my carryout order which was 2 bowls of Chicken dumpling soup. Dumplings were delicious, but no carrots or chicken in one and 1 slice of carrot and no chicken in the other. Expected better after paying $16.00. Basically dumplings and chicken broth.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch recently on a Friday and decided to try the fish. We heard good things about the food so thought we’d try it out. She ordered the fish sandwich and I ordered the large (3 piece) fish dinner. Both were served with crinkle cut fries. Both the fish sandwich and the fish dinner were fabulous. Large thick chunks of hot crispy fish fresh from the fryer. The coleslaw was very tasty as well. The waitress was very pleasant and made us feel at home. Would definitely recommend if you want a good Wisconsin fish fry! We’ll be back for sure to try some of the other specials.

Wednesday evening not busy at all. Waited 50 minutes for 2 easy sandwiches, a BLT and farmers melt. We were told our food would be up soon but they had 2 large tables before us order. If it took 50 minutes on a slow night I’m sure not going on a busy night I can imagine the wait time. My BLT was very small and they even charged me a couple more dollars to use my credit card to pay when they could have offered to wave the fee or something for the long wait. Nothing special to rave about Cisco food probably, I did like the onion rings.

The chicken dumpling soup is out of this world! We also enjoyed the brandy old fashioneds. Broiled fish was ok, it should have been hotter. Great service!

The food is fantastic. They have daily specials, definitely try the meatballs on Thursdays. It’s one of the few restaurants in town that still has a good soup & salad bar.

Excellent soup and salad bar. Main course was not good. Fish coating was almost raw, potatoes were gummy. Service was excellent.

This location was a suggestion from a local seminar speaker. Hands down the best decision some of us made, the food is amazing, well priced and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend you take the same chance.
