Small hole in the wall breakfast place, good menu selection, food was hot and fairly quick to the table. Pancakes were fluffy, Omelette was decent sized. Only real complaint is that this place is cash only, like a lot of the shops on this street. I get it, I do, but I live in the city and never really carry more than 15 bucks on me at any given time. Should have a card option.

Absolutely thought was going to be great, from the talks I heard, Not the the case. Lady who served us did not smile or greet us, no water, we had ask. As if she didn’t want to be there. The pancakes tasted like no buttermilk at all. I couldn’t even imagine why pancakes was bland. Even IHOP is better. Smh ♀️

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. BUT IT IS A CASH ONLY RESTAURANT. WE DIDNT FIND THAT OUT UNTIL THE END OF OUR MEAL. HAD TO GO TO THE BANK ON THE HOLIDAY AND GET CASH AND COME BACK BUT THEY DIDNT MAKE A BIG DEAL OUT OF IT SO THAT WAS NICE. IT IS VERY INCONVENIENT THOUGH WHEN WE ;IVE IN A WORLD OF EFT. I really like this place & it’s a great alternative to Walker Bros where the line can extend outside the door. At least two times I’ve gone to Hotcakes after seeing the line at Walker Bros & been able to get a table right away. I love their cornmeal flapjacks & order that most of the time but they have a great menu & the portions are huge. Last time I was there I got two more meals out of my leftovers. They only take cash, so be prepared.
