I’ve lived in town for 8 years now and have always driven past this place without thinking much of it. Finally stopped in tonight to pick up dinner on the way home and was impressed by the portions of their combo plate! I will never go back to Panda Express ever again because this restaurant has better food and gives generous portions. It hits the spot for American Chinese fast food. I will be back!

I was here in grad school when this place first opened in the 90s. Their hot and sour soup was a regular treat for me. I’ve returned to campus for the first time in 25 years, and while a lot has changed, I was delighted to see that Hot Wok Express is still there. Crispy wonton strips still come with the soup, just as I remembered.

This place is a wonderful stop with extremely reasonably priced meals. I ordered 2 plates with fried rice and 2 chicken types, along with 6 crab rangoons, and it was $21. The food is incredible, I had to force myself to put my fork down! I’m actually EXCITED to get hungry again so I can eat my leftovers. The workers are super friendly, and the establishment is clean. I will definitely stop by again when I get the chance.

Must be under new management. Food wasn’t as good as in the past. Fried rice didn’t have eggs, peas, and other ingredients that used to be in it. Still tasty food tho.

This was my favorite place to eat. Since when do they leave all the bones in? I could only eat about 1/8 of the chicken. This was pretty disappointing.

Worst sesame chicken I’ve ever had. Extremely soggy with a layer of grease over the top of the sauce. The lo main had absolutely no flavor and tasted like wood. I’ll be going to Panda Express 2 minutes away. The red flag should have been the barren parking lot

I ordered vegetable lo mein, generals chicken, a pork eggroll and, a diet pepsi. The chicken which is advertised as spicy was weirdly sweet and greasy along with the always appetizing quality of being soggy. The lo mein was also greasy. The eggroll is the only thing I ate. They are at least stuffed with a good quantity of stuffing but it was tough. I won’t be back. Cost for this terrible food was $10.67.

Another mediocre and slightly Americanized Chinese restaurant in town. Good thing about this place is the price and the convenience though. I can get a $10 hot lunch through the very quick drive thru, then sit in my car and eat before class starts and still have some leftovers for dinner. If you have a car and want some cheap quick food this place is not a bad option.

lovely and clean space. It was remodeled by a new owner this summer. Now it’s a clean and warm space for everyone to stay and dine in. Takeout is still available though, but I highly recommend that you stay and enjoy their free hot tea. Food is good and it worths the price. Personally I really love their beef brisket and teriyaki chicken. They also have handmade passion fruit and lemon tea of 1 Liter just for 4 dollar. Hope this place stays forever.
