If you’re in the mood for late night, scalding hot, greasy, jumbo slice pizza after a night at the bar in Fells Point, Hot Tomatoes is that quintessential place. Not the best pizza you’ve ever had, but it hits the spot right when you need it, and the employees are unfazed by the inevitably buzzed customers who roll in from the nearby watering holes.

Well to start 25 for pie is crazy. Had to wait over an hour for wings and a pie. Plus didn’t give me my change. Waved it off as a tip. Walk around fells for a good 30 mins. Went back to get my food. Guess what still not done had to wait 30 more mins .When my order was done. He said that he left my pie in the oven to long so he would give me a discount. He Walked away and never came back . The pizza was completely Burned Burned. toppings where in short supply and bad. Ordered a LG meat lovers. Had whole strip of paper thin of dollar store bacon, frozen meat balls Chopped in half, pepperoni . Oh and one piece of shredded chicken in the middle .The wings was bland and over done. My kids cook better . This might be over doing it . Kind of felt like I was very nicely taken advantage of

The gentleman behind the counter was friendly. The pizza left a lot to be desired. Pizza crust lacks body (stretched really thin) and the sauce and cheese are sparse. Each bite leaves you with little to taste – no matter how you fold, roll, stack it. The crust leans on the insipid side.

The pizza here is amazing. Thin but crispy crust, 36″pies, always amazing. But the hidden gem here is the deep fried sandwiches. They literally sell out of the meatball and the philly cheesesteak an hour after they come out of the fryer (usually around 10:30pm). And while those are the best, they have a rotating amazing assortment of others including a thanksgiving dinner sandwich, a pork belly Cuban, and a buffalo chicken. If you see deep fried sandwiches on the rack, get one and thank me later.
