We stopped in for a drink, (Louisiana’s sweet spot, cocktail trail) and wasn’t planning on ordering, but the costumer service was so great we decided to order and see how it would go. We ordered the crawfish croquettes, so delicious. The flavor was so unique and memorable. Then for our main meal Red beans,rice and porkchop for me and The crab cab croissant everything was so good. We really weren’t expecting to even like the place or the food, but WOW were we surprised. I’m definitely coming back. The atmosphere and the food .

We loved the Shotgun shrimp. It was my husband’s first time and the Black N Zola burger was great. I did enjoy the sweet spot cocktail drink and my catfish half poboy. That spillway sauce is awesome! Your fries were also very good. Staff is very helpful & friendly. It was kind of warm so that was the only minus but the food was worth it. We look forward to next time and I’m sure that will be soon.

We had a party of 10 for lunch. Damaris was kind enough to come to our table to take our order. She was very pleasant and helpful and did a very good job. We appreciated her patience and sweet demeanor. The food came out fairly quickly and everything tasted amazing! We had several different items from the menu, which all had amazing flavor! Thank you for a yummy lunch!

OMG … if you have not been here yet, you are missing out … Big Time went here for lunch today and it was incredible!!! Everything was so fresh and perfectly cooked … the service was excellent too … Allie was amazing and sweet their Spillway Sauce was so awesome that I had to buy some before I left if you love seafood … then you need to try them!!

The food was really bad. There was hair in the food, it didn’t taste right, it wasn’t cooked right, everything either had too much seasoning or too little. The service was amazing, the atmosphere too, however the food should never have tasted like that.

I’m not a fan of how you have to pay before the meal. If your drinking drinks you have to either order the amount you think your going to drink or check out multiple times. Workers are really friendly and great options of food to choose from. Never have to wait long to eat. Food is good sometimes a little salty.

The order concept was a little different than I’m used to, had to order food first at the bar and seat ourselves. The BF ordered the Oyster Rockefeller burger and I had the fried crawfish tails. All the food was made to order, fresh, hot and delicious! The shut up dawgs (hush puppies) were very addicting. I was a little disappointed with the drink selection (no coke zero or diet Dr pepper) as a diabetic a wider range of choice would have been appreciated. I settled for unsweet tea and was happy with that. I gave only 4 stars because with a name like Hot Tails we were expecting boiled crawfish to be available, but it was not. I must say that the wait staff could not do enough for us, it will be worth while to come back just for the service!

Really terrific for a mid-range restaurant. It’s clear there’s a lot of dedication from the staff into making this place run like a top from the overall cleanliness to the quality of the food being truly above average. Expect to spend about $45 for two people with an appetizer, and two entrees.
