Very cute hot pot place! The food was all very good. The individual hot pot bowls are great and the veggie broth is gluten free. They also have a sauce bar where the gluten free options are marked so you can spice up the broth if you want. The brisket meat was delicious and the service was excellent. The music was a bit too loud, hard to talk over. If you’re hard of hearing I wouldn’t recommend it.

We really enjoy hot pot and have tried several in the area. Hot Spot had great broth, the best we’ve tried in northern VA – we tried the herbal chicken and the mala (spicy), which was our personal favorite. There is a wide selection of options for both meat and veggies to try. They have tables for individual or family style as well. The vibe was cool and our server was awesome and attentive. Price point is good, great value for the AYCE! Definitely will be back and would recommend to anyone.

What a fun experience with the family. We were a bit out of her element, but our server Kim held our hand and walked us through everything. Rafael, the manager came out and he is definitely a keeper. Made sure our experience was great and engaged in conversation. Well done team!

I visited Hot Spot with my wife for lunch on a Friday, and we had a fantastic experience. The server was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meal, which really enhanced our dining experience. The food was truly excellent – we both loved the Asian fusion hot pot and found it to be both flavorful and filling. The highlight of the meal for me was definitely the house special spicy sauce – it added a real kick to everything we tried! We also loved the lychee temples.

Want to be forced to pay 36% gratuity? Then don’t use the Groupon for this place or that’s what they force you to pay. $54 tip on a $150 ticket is absurd – Hot Spot should be ashamed of their business practices taking advantage of their customer base. I’m usually a 25% tipper which is more than fair – not only did this forced tip leave a bad taste, I’m not coming back.

The broth at Hot Spot is noticeably better than most other local hot pot restaurants. It doesn’t taste watered down.

Just go. I won’t lie I frequent once a week! Kimchi broth is amazing as is the Tom yum. Sauce bar puts it apart from most to be honest, but I love condiments! We love the ribeye, shaved pork, dumplings and fresh kimchi. Along with great veggies. Great happy hours, management (especially Sushan and Ji!) they’re so welcoming if it’s your first time, my favorite spot for hot pot!
