Was a bit of a wait because they were so busy, but it’s my favorite pizza in Seymour. Friendly staff and they offer free delivery. I got the hot grill favorite and a cheese pizza with some wings and fries. Everything was great. They apologized over and over again for the wait but it wasn’t that big of a deal. I’ll definitely order from here again.

The Delivery: Food arrived fast & piping hot. Extra points for the very nice delivery guy! Others should take lessons from him! The Food: Mashed Potato Pizza, Philly Steak & Cheese Grinder & Mozzarella Sticks. The Verdict: Everything was great!! The grinder even came w/mushrooms, onions & peppers. Most places charge a fortune just for those 3 extras! The best part was when I asked if they also make thin crust pizza. Not only was the answer yes, the pizza was absolutely delicious!

Shout out to Hot Grill & Pizza on rte 67. I ordered a large White Florentine Pizza close to closing time last night. When I picked it up I was greeted by a very pleasant man (owner?). When I received my (rather large amount of) change I put it in my pocket and headed home with the pizza and sodas. Well, when I got home I didn’t have the $$ in my pocket. I was so upset. I called but no answer so I figured they’d closed for the night. We headed back there and my son called again on the way. Lo and behold the man answered the phone. The predicament was explained and he checked their floor. Nothing. Then he asked where I had parked, he went outside and FOUND the $$! When I arrived for it, he would not accept the “thank you” money I offered, saying “Oh no I can’t accept that. Just doing my job. Enjoy your pizza and have a good night.” I left with a great feeling, and we did thoroughly enjoy the delicious pizza. That was my first time ordering from Hot Grill & Pizza but it’s surely not my last.

Have been meaning to stop in and try it. We were not disappointed!!! The gentlemen there were awesome , the pizza was delicious (I’m from NY I am so picky about CT pizza ‍♀️) they also had an wooden elephant on the counter which is my favorite animal so I knew this was going to be a great place to add to our favorite spots list!!! Highly recommend!
