Everything was good, but nothing was great. The salad and dessert bar was mediocre. The best things on it were the cinnamon bread and the chicken soup. I ordered a buffalo chicken mac & cheese bowl, and I really didn’t care for it at all. My husband ordered the house burger, which he said was very good. The fries were good and bottomless. I thought the prices were decent, and our service was good as well. But overall, I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat at Hoss’s again.

Food was good, as usual. I expect nothing less. But 4 stars because the waitress kept bothering us every few minutes, to where we could hardly enjoy our delicious food. Also, we can see the effects of the pandemic on Hoss’s: plates are small, menu is considerably more expensive, and there was hardly no one there during prime dinner time on a Friday evening (blame pandemic, lazy Gen Zers and Door Dash). Used to be a wait to get seated, now you’re in the door, greeted, seated, order taken and off to the salad bar in less than 15 minutes (no lie). Thanks pandemic!

Salad bar is back with old favorites and new specialties. Strawberries are here. Broccoli salad remains. Boom boom salad with a touch of spicy heat is very good. On this visit we were late and a few of the salad bar items had been warming slightly too long. Overall I was happy with my dinner.

We are Wednesday evening regulars for Daddy/Son date night. The entire staff has been amazing, especially Lauryn and Essence. We used to bounce between the Hummelstown and this location, but we have decided that the Cleona location is superior. We will continue to patronize this location as it is our favorite.

The reason For my one star is cause of the drink I don’t drink soda only apple juice and they over charge for the juice I believe they should have a fountain for apple juice or IC fruit punch, not charge for refills when the soda is the worst for ur body I’m upset and I go every weekend the food is good , salad bar is good , just need go easy on the salt on the chicken noodle soup cause the only thing I eat, and I don’t mind giving my information

This has to be one of the very few places you can go to on a Friday night and not wait for a table. It is very affordable, the salad bar always has a great selection, and the food is outstanding. I tried something new, the bbq brisket tacos. They were pretty good(a bit on the “saucey” side. All of our meals were delicious. The service was great as usual as well. I will keep coming here over and over again.
