The first Hooters opened October 4, 1983, in Clearwater, Florida. The Original Six founders were quickly detained for impersonating restaurateurs, but fortunately for America, they were soon allowed to go about their business.

During its history, the Hooters concept has remained true to its roots. The current logo, uniform, menu and ambiance are all very similar to what existed in the original store. This consistency is understandable given Hooters continued success and high ranking amongst the industry’s growth leaders.

This location really restored my faith in this company. The server was pleasent. The food was hot! The environment was welcoming. Overall, and compared to my last visit at the new castle location this visit was awesome! And the snow legs were actually half price as advertised! The New Castle location charged us 20. Thank you very much for restoring my desire to visit this restaurant.

We visited Wednesday 7/5, the bartender (Bri) was great! The manager on the other hand ruined the atmosphere. Kept yelling at employees right in front of customers, and usually for no reason at all. Needless to say, we don’t come for the rude male managers…

Atmosphere: good, lots of tvs and booths separated by plastics barriers…it was dinner and no one was there…maybe 20 people? Our table was a little sticky so they def lose points for not having a clean table. 5/10

If I can give zero stars, I would! Our server was cold & unwelcoming. We ordered all you can eat wings & was told afterwards that we can only get 5 mini wings at a time which I found to be odd! In addition she never cleared our table & would take forever to bring the next 5 mini wings. I can understand if the place was crowed but it wasn’t. I will never go back there again! Worst experience ever..

Sat at the table for 10 minutes waiting for a waitress two of them walked around more concerned about cleaning the tables. Two guys walked in and soon one of the girls went to them to get there order and still haven’t come to ask mine. So I left and told the manager of the lousy service. Won’t be coming back.
