Great place to get a burger and hang out with a friend. 5 starts for what it is. Hooligans is a classic dive that has fantastic food for the price. The Bleu Cheese Coleslaw is legendary and some of the best you’ll ever have, if that’s something you enjoy.

The food was a bit hit and miss. The fries and tater tots were great, but the chili dog was just ok. It was served on toasted bread which made it greasy. I don’t recommend the cheese curds. For some reason they were grainy.

the place is located in a nice area and the inside is cozy and friendly. the food there is not that good now compared to what they used to do. i ate there few days ago and it was horrible experience. the tenders that they use sometimes are bad and you might find them hard crusted.

There is a reason this is one of the last OG places still standing on North. Food is always delicious, from the burgers to the catfish. Also, it has one of the best bloody marys you can get.

Such a great Milwaukee staple. Hooligans is one of the best fish frys around. I’d advise you to get here early. By 7pm the place is packed and seating is rough. There is outside seating during the summer, and a second bar upstairs. Try Hooligans during your next Fish Fry Friday and let all your friends know how it awesome it was.
