This was my first time at Hook & Reel, and it won’t be my last. The service was great, and our waitress was really nice. She answered our questions and was patient with our group of 5. I’ve never had a seafood boil before, and I wasn’t disappointed. I ordered buffalo wings for an appetizer and the large catch with snow crab legs, beef sausage, and a 1/2 lb of headless shrimp. It was expensive, but well worth the money. I would recommend this place to any seafood lovers.

It’s a cute place with a really friendly and fun staff. I got the shrimp basket and while the shrimp were huge, there was no seasoning, so it was flavorless. Kim was our waitress and she was so sweet that we’ll be back anyway.

I have been to this place for several times. We ordered two reel catch with addition to king crab legs, beef sausage and lobster tail. I love their sauce blend, the spicy one. It’s very flavorful and make my friend who didn’t like seafood also had a lot.

This is in a nice location and the ambiance is nice. The service was slow eventhough there wasn’t that many people in there but Nikki the waitress did a great to try and make up for the slow service. The drinks were pretty good. However when you have a seafood restaurant in Maryland it has to be great because Maryland is the seafood capital. The seafood wasn’t seasoned and tasted bland. I would recommend the Cajun seafood paella because the Cajun seasoning on the rice was good. The experience wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t great.

Only have done a doordash order for here. The large catch boil w/ snow crabs legs were great. Garlic butter sauce with the corn in the cob was a great combo. It was well packed and warm. Was not a fan of the calamari, tasted rubbery and they sent me the the wrong sauce. Doordash got my order to me in 30minutes. Note that the sodas come in Cups not as a bottle as pictured on doordash.

Great place. What I LOVED about the menu was a disclosure at the bottom that stated items with this symbol have a high salt in take which could effect blood pressure. This was GREAT! Especially fo those with this medical issue. Happy hour daily from 2-6. Wait staff friendly and welcoming. Great music just a good vibe.

The service was great. The rum punch and hush puppies were also good. The flounder Po’Boy and basket did not have enough fish. The Po’Boy did not have enough sauce, but our excellent server Kendrick gave us extra. We will give it another try because of Kendrick.

I came in with a friend yesterday and the bartender wasn’t there. We came for dinner during happy hour. The server told us the bartender was late but didn’t over to take our food orders or anything. 10 mins later the bartender comes in ignoring us. She starts pouring shots for her coworker. With no greeting and 20 mins waiting we left.

It’s a nice place to sit and eat but way overpriced. The calamari we ordered was very overcooked and rubbery. So we left that behind. My boil was good but no seasoning and my daughter ended up combining hers with mine because hers had no taste just butter no garlic. I don’t think it was worth 98 dollars but I paid it anyway. But it’s not better than crafty crab. Crafty crab is better and cheaper. The food has a lot of seasoning. I won’t be going back ever again. I check it off the bucket list but it’s not somewhere I would recommend for anybody to go to.

The food was awful today! We’ve ordered here many times and never has it been this bad. The seafood was old and not seasoned. The corn was old and not even edible. The shrimp basket was even worse and wasn’t edible. The shrimp was hard and the fries were overcooked. We won’t be returning after this experience unfortunately.
