We went here for our daughters birthday dinner. We were so happy with the service and food. Last year we went to Crazy Crab and the experience was horrible, we’ve been wanting to try a new place for boils, but haven’t gotten around to it until now. Hook & Reel was amazing. The service was great, they were attentive and checked in regularly. We ordered crab fries, calamari, raw oysters and the Reel Catch Boil. The boil included 2 clusters of snow crabs, black mussels, shrimp. We could have easily ordered 2 boils, the way our 3 kids love seafood.

After an arduous drive back to Glen Burnie from the Eastern Shore, I was looking for something quick to eat at about 2:30 pm. I stopped at Denny’s and waited at the Hostess station for 10 minutes without success at being seated so I left and decided to try Hook and Reel a couple of blocks up the street. (After checking their reviews in the parking lot.) I’m so glad I did. The food is absolutely awesome and the service I received from Kelsey was even better. All the staff I encountered had wonderful, cheerful attitudes. Very surprising in today’s work climate especially on a Sunday afternoon. I have tried several other restaurants in the area and have been bitterly disappointed. Pleased to find one where returning will be very comfortable. Nice to wind up the weekend with a definite plus.

I did an online order, got the flounder poboy w/ Cajun fries. Cajun wings and corn on the cob. The food was all delicious, the only downside was the 2 slivers of flounder on the sandwich for 13 bucks. The hostess was sweet but it took a few to get a wait for my food beer. I’d definitely go back.

We had Mercedes as our server. She has been our server many times before and we have always had wonderful experiences. So polite and attentive. We will definitely be back again and again. Food is always great and fast. Wendy always greets us with a beautiful smile. A great place to be after a long work day.

This is only my second time going and it will definitely not be the last!!! So far everything I’ve had is delicious and flavorful (fried catfish, flounder, spaghetti marinara with shrimp and mussels and Omg those coconut shrimp!!!). My ONLY critique would be that my shrimp were slightly overcooked, but they were delicious nevertheless. Although the restaurant was a bit busy, the service was still good all things considered…I will definitely be going back again!!

Excellent service excellent food as always all the Hook & reel Cajun seafood places are the best! This one in particular I enjoyed the most here in Maryland! Food was excellent! I even had good customer service with a young lady I chatted up with while I waited for my food! I told her that I eat here often and I would be back she offered me a drink! Told me please come back In sit-in next time I told her I would I just didn’t like the atmosphere it was just a lot of stuff going on at one time I don’t like being around a lot of commotion I’m getting older! Quiet night other than that the service was excellent

I always come back here whenever I can because it never disappoints. The drinks are always made perfectly. The food is always good. The place is always clean and the service is always on point. I go with a friend and the check is always either in the 80s or 100-105$ , but we add on a lot of extras and drinks. Plus tips.

I really liked the ambiance of the restaurant. Was very clean and maintained. The seafood was cooked perfect. I will say at first. I did not like the seafood as much. Because of the lack of salty seasoning. I had ordered the house sauce and spicy. It was barely spicy and I felt it had no flavor. However midway through eating I starting dipping the seafood heavily into the sauce from the steamer bag. The more I at the more I liked the food. And it became more spicy and flavorful. By the time I was done. I was hungry for more.
