Fun place – the catfish was delicious! The steamed oysters were pretty good but sauces are a bit too salty (their is a warning on menu re: sodium – appreciate that!). I loved the hush puppies but they don’t need butter IMO. My lunch companion found mini boil to be tasty but said it was cold compared to my steaming hot catfish- which I loved. I ordered sweet potato fries – not knowing they were waffle fries, which I hate since they’re usually soggy as these kinda were.

Our waitress Ty was the absolute best! She handled the tables seamlessly. She was extremely polite and professional! Each time she came to the table she apologized for interrupting. I’ve never had a waitress or waiter be so courteous! I previously only did delivery. Now I only want to come when she is here now. Excellent all around.

Leaving the airport with food on the brain. We decided on Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood. Greeted by the manager, informed him that we wanted to place a to-go order, he was kind enough to offer us a table. He took the time to explain the specials and asked if we had questions. That was great customer service! The atmosphere was chill with really cool Halloween decorations, the music was good, the to-go order taker’s service needs improvement but the food… the Catfish & Cod Baskets with Cajun fries were delicious . Great value for the money. There’s a full bar that gives off a sports bar vibe, ample seating in the dining room and lots of parking. Highly recommend!

Great stop for some delicious sea food! Came with a friend for dinner, the menu was very detailed and the waiter helped us select the best options for us. Drinks also had enough alcohol and there were plenty options. The music is a bit loud so it’s hard to hear others at your table but they were playing good tunes! Would come back

The employees here are EXCEPTIONAL! I have never experienced this level of service at a restaurant before. Even if the food wasn’t good, I’d return simply because they were so accommodating. The food was also great! Loved the crabmeat fries!! My husband loved the “perfect storm” boil with garlic butter sauce.

Hook & Reel did it for me!!! Being a first time experience I was amazed at all the decor. Very open space to enjoy your seafood boil crave, or just some pasta and seafood. The drinks were tasty and did its do, and most importantly the food taste delicious and fresh. We were greeted with a smile and seated quickly. Our server check back on us several times being careful not to over do the check back. Chris the manager was very warm and welcoming. Solid 4.5 ⭐️. You will enjoy your experience.
