It was my first time here. Menu options are kind of limited but fine for quick gatherings and casual eats. Drinks were strong! DJ played straight bops from the 90’s to now, wasn’t overly loud to prevent conversions like some places.

I really loved this place but as of today I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU GO HERE UNLESS ITS TAKEOUT ! They are under new management, going through bartenders like water & alot of things are changing and making the place no longer a fun place to go.. But as Far As The FOOD Goes, ALWAYS AMAZING.. just order take out from now on.. this will no longer be my weekly spot

I went here on Sunday with my daughter for the first time since they’ve opened up. I wasn’t expecting a good outcome being that it’s located in the Bronx, just being honest. I was surprised by the excellent customer service given from the moment we stepped into the door to the very moment we left. First of all, the waitress at the front greeted us with a genuine smile. (Not typical behavior from businesses in the Bronx,) She gave us a booth within a few minutes, wasn’t a long wait. Not too long after, our assigned waiter came to our table and introduced himself. My daughter is very shy and quiet, so she’s not good with talking to strangers. I’m sure he picked up on that and was very friendly, making her and myself feel comfortable. The whole time in between, he came to our table to check in on us. He was very patient, sweet, knowledgable on the menu and his vibes were definitely genuine. At the end, I gave him a tip but that wasn’t good enough. I had to give this young man a good review online. The name on his tag is Kyle.

I ordered the largest boil plus 2 eggs(The Reels Catch). I paid in cash and it amounted to almost $80. I went food shopping next door at food bazaar. Got home and DID NOT SEE ME EGGS AND ONLY 2 CRAB LEGS…everything else was in the bag. BTW my bag and all take out bags are put into a brown paper bag with handles that are sealed (I could not see what was inside).

Large space and helpful waitresses. The food was good but the drinks are better. The steamed food came in a large bag full of hot goodness. I didn’t know how to open it. But I didn’t let my ignorance stop me from eating my steamed shrimp with broccoli and noodles drowned in garlic butter. And when I say drowned, I mean drowned. Not bad overall. Happy hour must be good if all the drinks are as good as the blue margarita.

So I did read the reviews b4 I chose to eat here. I was hoping that Annie didn’t display any of the negative comments that I read. But it was good overall. I walked in & I think Annie was having dinner at the checkout counter..The younglady who was tending to my side of the room was moving g as fast as she could. not crowded but as I sat during lunch it started to build with customers. I played it safe & ordered the $10.99 lunch special of jumbo shrimps which lived up to its name. They were tender & large with sweet potatoes fries. Enjoyed my visit hopefully will return soon & try something else.

Food and drinks are amazing. Our waitress would dissappear at times. It was a busy night but we waited a while to get more drinks. Food was worth it. I love that gloves & bibs are provided . You will get messy.
