We always order the large catch with 2 snowcrab legs and corn, potatoes, and add the sausage. It’s so delicious and the crab is always cooked perfectly! Shells snap well, crab comes out super easy and is filled with flavor from the boil.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hook and Real Cajun Seafood, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat. The warm and inviting ambiance, coupled with the tantalizing aroma of Cajun spices, created an atmosphere that immediately sparked my appetite.

I really wanted to give this place a great review. My order wasn’t right to start with. The food was very watery. I know it’s a seafood boil, but at least give it to me on a dry plate. It is really expensive, and that’s the biggest reason I wasn’t happy about my order being wrong (was charged for 2 pounds of food instead of the 1 I ordered).

The food was awesome! The quality was great, very fresh, and the seasoning was on point! I was a bit frustrated that they had a special going on on their website Mon- Thurs (I went on a Wed), however when I asked the server, I was told they changed it to Just Mon and Tues and wouldn’t honor it, though admitting they hadn’t updated their website. Had I not driven 45 min, I would have left. However, for the sake of having enjoyed my meal, I’m glad I stayed. Definitely check them out, but if going for a special they offer on their site, I’d call before going.

Very good service and food! Had the Seafood Boil with dungeness crab, scallops, headless shrimp, sausage and the Hook & Reel Special Blend seasoning. Heat level choice, spicy. It was VERY tasty and all accessories were utilized. e.g. fork, crab tool, bib, gloves, wet wipes, etc.

Okay so this is only my third time to one of these places this time was my first at this location it’s a very nice building not as decorated ocean lake and sea creatures and stuff as the other location.. and I noticed that the flavors are not as strong as say Canton location….. The Canton location uses a lot of chunks of garlic which I really enjoy personally other than that everything was good the oysters were absolutely delicious and fresh.. and for some reason the Canton location has extremely fast cooking service the last two times anyhow . So I think this location is good they just need more garlic and more sea ocean creature decorations

The restaurant was nice, clean and didn’t smell fishy or seafood-ish as some other establishment of it’s caliber. Which I was truly surprised!

I’ve had shrimp pasta in every Southern/ gulf coast state including Florida, as well as Hawaii and California, North and South Carolina, I have NEVER had it with tails still on,smothered in tomato soup/sauce,or with mussels still in the shell. My wife had the ” shrimp salad” AGAIN with tails on AND BREADED. The only good thing was the Lobster bisque, and the service. I have never been to a restaurant that didn’t serve coffee or that you couldn’t get a side salad, in order to have a ” side salad ” you have to buy the full salad meal. All in all,we will not be returning to this restaurant.
