The mouth-watering smell of fresh Asian food hits you like a warm breeze as you enter the store. I highly recommend the steam buns, especially if you want a delicious affordable and filling take-along food. We got five to take to the airport and all were great but I especially liked the garlic chicken, (savory) and purple yam (sweet). The people were super nice, too. You can feel the true aloha spirit dining here.

The manapoha are good and there are a lot of choices. The only way I tried them was fried and they were a little greasy they also do steamed which I will probably try next time. But other wise good. You have to try the lilikoi.

The fried manapuas are the Bomb!!!! Every flavor is delicious. I go there specifically for those. But to top it off, the owner feeds the homeless every day at 3 . Plates that will get them full and taste good. Out of his own pocket the owner does this every day. I think there are some people taking advantage ,bc they aren’t homeless ,but they stand in that line for free food. If anyone reading this does that please stop. You are supposed to pay . That will put him out of business.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for a quick snack on our way to Honolulu. We were received with such kindness. Jupiter helped us decide what to order (we are new to Hawaiian cuisine) and even threw in some samples for us to try.
