Hongs Gourmet in Saratoga Village is a great authentic Chinese restaurant. All the food options are very flavorful. The pineapple fried rice was served in a carved out pineapple. The lemon chicken, sesame chicken, were both nice and tinder. The service was fast and friendly and the beer was cold. I couldn’t have all for a better dinner. Kud friendly, fish tanks, appetizers and deserts for all. Great restaurant

After a disastrous experience with their service, my wife and I decided to give Hongs Gourmet another chance. We’re glad we did! The food was just as good as last time and the service was considerably better.

Only the soup was tasty. Green onion pancakes barely had any green onion. Crispy noodles were also tasteless and oily. We got spicy, but still were very mild. Waiter was not helpful

The Peking duck and fried chicken with basil were both outstanding. 4 stars only because the service was awkward and the ambience was a little uncomfortable. We will try again just because of the food, though.

Hong’s Gourmet is a hidden gem in the quaint lil Saratoga downtown! We haven’t been to a nice Chinese place in a while, so decided to try Hong’s, and we are glad we did! As soon as you enter the place, you are impressed with the grandeur. Over Lunch, the restaurant wasn’t too busy, and hence we got a wonderful table with lots of light and view to the street outside, looking at the fall colors! Our waiter was an old but amazingly warm and polite gentleman, who took great care of us. The service was excellent! We ordered Salt and Pepper Eggplant, which was just delicious, with subtle flavors, highlighting the Eggplant inside. This was excellent over the slightly hot, Hot and Sour soup that we had just wrapped up. Next we had the vegie Chowmein, with Kung Pao Tofu. While the Chowmein was fine, the Tofu had great flavor and texture. We spent a good couple of hours, enjoying the food and the service, and felt very welcome. We look forward to coming back soon.

the hotel was nice but it appears that they are trying to cut cost…perhaps it was the first place ever that there was no bottle water left in the room at all. Nothing in the mini fridge. no coffee maker or coffee for the morning…It is okay if they want to charge for them but I found it very poor choice to leave nothing in the room.

We were hoping to find a new favorite Chinese restaurant in our area. The ratings were high for this restaurant, but experience did not support the food, the service, or the atmosphere. One dish was even served in a glass pie plate. The restaurant was dark, the windows dirty, and the restrooms had no lights.

Hong’s was nice, I got the sweet and sour pork and thought it was a good blend of sweet and sour but also complementing the pork itself. On the other hand, found the house chow fun to be lacking as the sauce seemed watery.

Food is good. Service is not. They overcharge . Spring water is 1$ in menu but 1.5$ in bill. One person ordered rice but all others were charged 2$ for rice as well. Asked to pack to go hot and sour soup leftower to go , they give us container with 1/3 of soup .
