It looks like a hole in the wall, but it is neat and clean inside. The atmosphere does not strike you as something Asian, but just rather routine. However, the people are friendly and the service is good. The food is incredible! You’ll eat things you never thought of before. Try the roasted duck. Comes out delicious and moist! I ordered takeout from this place and it was amazing. Everything tasted great, but my favorite was the walnut shrimp and crab Rangoon. I definitely want to go back and order more next time. I would highly recommend if you’re craving for authentic Chinese food.

My husband and I live for fantastic food but love to eat in the comfort of our home during these times and local restaurants like Hong Kong Star fulfill our desperate need for a wonderfully cooked meal packed carefully in good to go boxes. I’m not a fan of food deliveries so order via their website and pick the order up. Great website to order food, easy scroll and checkout. Now let’s come to food- Delicious is the word! The food’s not too salty, has balanced flavors and does not taste sweet at all which I extremely love! Robust umami flavors shouting from every dish is what I absolutely love in their food and I’m thrilled to have a new favorite chinese spot just minutes away.

We used to love this place. Recently we dined here and had to very bitter nasty meals. The family next to us complained that their meal was bitter and sent it back, I wish we had been brave enough to send both of ours back. We had two meals for $50 that was the worst Chinese meal we’ve ever had. So gross. This place used to be good. I don’t know what they were doing different but our two meals were bitter and awful. Everything we order was awfully bitter and bad. The egg rollls and the crab Rangoon are amazing. The rest was barely edible. I ordered my usual Basil chicken and it barely had any basil in it and it had a sour bitter taste to it. We will never go back. So sad that this place has changed for the worst. It won’t be in business long if they keep making food like this.

Excellent General’s Chicken lunch special, with Hot&Sour Soup and a fresh eggroll. They actually put lilly buds in their Hot&Sour soup like you are supposed to. The fried Wontons for the soup were: thin, fresh, krispy, and perfect.Everything was hot out of the wok and delicious. The service was outstanding and very hospitable. I’ll be back.
