So disappointed we ordered the Hong Kong Dinner Combo for two and was worst food ever. The shrimp was so over cooked it was just a hard thread wrapped in tempura. Won Ton soup thumbs down no flavor and itty bitty won tons. Sweet n Sour pork smashed in the box so it was goo with some pork pieces (it was a takeout order). Pork fried rice mushy with tiny pieces of pork. Egg rolls were large but tasted nasty like old oil and cooked a couple hours before our order. The pink sauce was good. Chow menu with pan fried noodles another tasteless bust. My fortune cooking didn’t even come with a fortune although we paid $35 for the meal!!!

This is old school Chinese food at its finest. The selection is great, everything I’ve had on this menu is fantastic and don’t forget to try the pink sauce. It’s a southern Oregon thing, I’ve never seen it anywhere else, but it’s at all the Chinese restaurants in southern Oregon it really does add to the flavor of the dishes location is easy to fine if you’re just passing through town and the decor looks like they haven’t changed it in 30 or 40 years makes me love it even more.

I have been eating at Hong Kong for at least 40+ years and the food has always been amazing and fresh! Comfortable booths. Reasonable prices. Great waitresses. We had dinner there on Saturday. The Hong Kong special for 2. Was amazing meal! We had leftovers to take home for the next day You get your money’s worth here. Parking is average. Great access off freeway. Hotel across street. Excellent location for out of towners.

This place closed a few months ago. It recently reopened under new owners. I will take into consideration that the new owner is learning the ropes, but seriously, it took us 2 hours to get through this dinner. The wait staff seemed confused, couldn’t remember to bring food out, (I had to go up to the cash register and ask for our soup to be brought to us), and at times ignoredus. The only one who seemed to be on top of it was the young woman who was clearing the tables. She brought us more hot tea, extra napkins and asked if she could bring us anything else. The owner did give us 10% off our bill for the long, long wait.I will say this, the food was pretty good and the restaurant itself was cleaner. I don’t think these guys were expecting the rush they had, there was great confusion within the wait staff, and the food was on the cold side by the time it got to us. I look forward to seeing improvements, both on the servers side, and the restaurant itself. One suggestion for the owners is to switch from egg rolls to spring rolls.; those are nasty.

we had a dinner for two which consisted of the worst food ever!!!!we pulled the very dense batter from the shrimp and found ‘strands’ of shrimp inside, I swear they divided a shrimp in three and battered each piece, the fried rice was very sticky and tasteless, the vegetable egg rolls we also pulled apart because the batter was also dense and inside was hardly any vegetables, maybe 1/2

Our first visit was fun. The food was great and plentiful, even though one reviewer said the portions were small. Kim, our server, was fantastic and we will see her again! The one criticism I have is that the tables out of service for COVID spacing had a thick layer of dust on them. All in all, though, lots of good food at fair prices. Try it!

Have been eating at this restaurant for over 30 years, first time eating there with the new owners. The bbq pork was mostly fat. The Mar far chicken were mostly very small pieces and the few big pieces of chicken was mostly the batter. Pork fried rice was not fried rice, it was poorly steamed rice with pork, was not fried rice at all. The rice was also half uncooked and the other half mushy. Veggie egg rolls were empty. All of the food was way way under seasoned and barley warm. The staff is rude and ignores customers. The staff also forgets parts of the orders. The restaurant should have stayed closed. I will never return and won’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you have a choice between eating at this place and eating somewhere else, eat somewhere else.

The new owners have raised prices and the meals are smaller. I would be okay with the price increase if the chicken and pork weren’t rock solid. Whoever is cooking is throwing itty bitty pieces of chicken together with the bigger pieces. The bigger pieces are very tough and the small bits, which make up the majority, are hard, and tasty, as rocks. I’ve eaten here for 50 years and the pork and chicken have never been this poorly cooked. I keep hoping the new owners will get it together and pay attention to the quality of the food.
