Never had been here before, so I took a chance and ordered lunch to go. This was at noon on Valentine Day. 5 minutes later I picked it up. Huge egg rolls and the pineapple chicken was enough for two meals. My wife got the teriyaki chicken and she couldn’t even eat half.

Wonderful food. Fast service. Fair prices. We LOVE this place. It’s our go to Chinese Restaurant. It’s so much better then the buffet place here in Owensboro. However, I did notice recently that their containers got smaller while the prices didn’t get cheaper. But prob their way of dealing with inflation. Everyone has had to make adjustments.

This is great food when it is fresh. There is a reason service is fast. They cook a lot before it is ordered. Look in the cooking area for about 30 stacked egg rolls waiting for an order. After a while the precooked food becomes soggy. It would have been much better a couple hours earlier. Timing is the key for good food at Hong Kong.

I’m not sure I’ve ever had worse Chinese food. We ordered through DoorDash, so maybe it’s better in the first 15 minutes, but I don’t see how. The fried rice barely had anything I’d expect in fried rice and it was way overcooked – boiled – and quite gummy. Everything was bland and I’m pretty sure the fried dumplings came in a box frozen. Never again for me.
