It will be depending on what you ordered. We had been here 3 times already since they opened. The stir fry dishes are very good. Some of the baked rice is just ok.

Hong Kong style milk tea is great here! As a Hong Kong Style cafe lover and a person lived in Hong Kong for 10 years, I always assess their food quality from milk tea. I can say this one is so good, especially besides Oakland, then from area to north, I don’t think any Hong Kong style nearby could compare with. Rice noodle and rice plate dish are good as well. I come to this restaurant every week. Highly recommended if you like HK Style cafe!

No wait on a Friday evening. The egg shrimp chow fun was fantastic and so was the cheese fish baked rice. Pretty damn authentic for canto food and very affordable with no surprise surcharges. Will be coming back! Wish I had tried this place sooner!!

Our order of Hai Nan Style Chicken with Special Rice and Roast Duck left us in awe. The Han Nai chicken rice was an absolute revelation – its surprising and unparalleled deliciousness, combined with incredibly flavorful rice, made each bite a delight. The roast duck was equally outstanding, leaving us with nothing but satisfaction. There’s truly nothing to complain about here.

Visiting a good friend here in Richmond and craving some authentic Chinese food. He rook me here and we ordered Spice Pork Belly and Alice Frog. They both very tasty and delicious. They would have been better it the food were fettingncoldbso fast and if they were more spicy. The cheli oil was not spicy at all. Definitely a place on the list for a revisit to taste other menu items.

They have sizzling steak in iron plate (set comes with soup, rice or spaghetti) ! Black pepper sauce is on point and it goes so well with the spaghetti! Russian borscht soup was ok a bit too sweet for my taste but the meal is so comforting!

I stopped by for a quick lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant started filling up after 12:30, but we didn’t have to wait long for our food. Overall had a great experience, from the quick service to the quality of the food. The preserved duck egg and pork congee was very tasty!

This place has really good Cantonese food. So far it’s the best I’ve had since Hong Kong Villa closed down in Berkeley some 30 years ago. It seems as if there are fewer Cantonese style restaurants in the area (Berkeley, Emeryville, Albany, El Cerrito, Richmond). I’m always on the lookout for those that remind me of SF Chinatown restaurants back in the day. So this one comes as close as my tastebuds are goes, giving it two thumbs up. I’ve been here four times now selecting different dishes each time and each visit has been delicious. My only complaint is that the wait staff seems always in a hurry so that getting their attention can be trying. Last time, I just kept my arm up to get their attention and still, that took a bit of time. Also, you have to know going in that the wait staff acts like a lot of Chinatown and Hong Kong restaurants – meaning they’re not polite or serve you with a smile. Once you do get their attention, they do respond. So as long as you can handle the wait staff, you’ll enjoy the food!
