Really good Chinese food. I’ve eaten Chinese food throughout my 10 years in NYC and this place is among the better restaurants I’ve had. I always order sesame chicken whenever I eat Chinese, and Hong Kong puts just the right amount of sauce in there. Many Chinese restaurants put too much sauce which makes it cloyingly sweet, but Hong Kong does it just right. Also love their crab Rangoon and pork ribs. Also their prices are very reasonable.

We ordered ahead to pick up. The food was hot and fresh. The soups were good…egg drop and wonton. The other entrees were ok. Dumpling were probably the most disappointing.

CAUTION: waste of time. Your paying for dough. Anything fried is all bread. And the sesame chicken as well as any combination with sauce is so sweet you might as well aoak your chicken In syrup. I had a bad time for lunch with work and we tried to give it a try for dinner and I would rather eat cereal. Total dog food.

I’m surprised that there are so many good reviews… It’s one thing to not expect good Chinese food because it’s American Chinese takeout in the catskills, but it’s bad even for American Chinese takeout. The dumplings were sooo thick and doughy and bland. The beef ho fun (beef chow fun) was an abomination. Vegetables that don’t belong in that dish (and aren’t in the sample pic), white and anemic looking, and the noodles were so overcooked and wet, they were a solid chunk that you couldn’t separate… ugggh. Three beef with broccoli had thick chunks of goo from using too much corn starch and not stir frying it properly. You can make American Chinese takeout yummy, but the people at this restaurant don’t even know how to cook.

This place is horrible. Every time I have been there or have called in an order, they have been miserable and rude. Angry on the phone and shove your food in your face when you get there and the food is even worse. It’s overcooked, dry and smells OLD. Yes, old. Gotta do the sniff test before you eat. I have tried them several times in hopes of having a better experience, always the same outcome. Trust me when I say, take the extra 15 mins to drive to shokan.

Fresh, well-done Pork Fried Rice with Chicken Wings. Glad that the food was great b/c the stores interior was muggy and smelly. Chose to eat in the car instead.

Always good. They are consistent and they are open more than most if the restaurants around here. Thank goodness for this place. Best Chinese food. You won’t be disappointed.

If you’re from outside the general area and closer to the city the food is pretty average. The Sesame chicken and Eggs rolls are good but the beef and broccoli and Lo Mien lacked flavor. Good prices

Ever since the management changed, the food quality has changed. The eggrolls aren’t as good anymore and when I ordered fried dumplings I thought I would get soy sauce specially for them, but I didn’t receive any. But before that everything was perfect.
