Where do I begin!!!! I went to this place thinking I’m about to eat me some good fish & grits… WAIT!!!!!! Before that once I order my food it was about 35+ mins before I got my food. Then when I get home thinking I’m about to eat some good fish & grits come to find a piece of hair. Not to mention I payed 12.50 for my food & it didn’t come with a drink…. I will never eat there again..

Food very good, welled seasoned and fresh. I feel like it was cooked to ordered. The meat anyway. I had catfish with yellow rice, Mac n Cheese and string beans. My mom and dad had pork chops with white rice, collards and string beans. I also got a slice a key lime cake. Great customer service, clean restaurant.

HORRIBLE FOOD! The greens tasted like someone intentionally dumped salt on it, macaroni had a weird taste, I don’t know how they messed up the broccoli with cheese. However, the turkey wing with rice was good. By the way, I called literally 6 times to place my order in which no one would answer the phone so I had to go up there. I should of known better! I will never be back. Horrible!

First time here. Food was excellent cooked to order shrimp and grits. Got the shrimp grilled with caramelized onions. The shrimp were well prepared and not overcooked. Scrambled cheese eggs and cheese grits went well with it. Definitely plan to come back.

I love love love this place! The macaroni and cheese is so amazing! I love the turkey wings and greens also! I also ordered the salmon and it was seasoned so well!! Don’t forget to try the banana pudding and the honey cornbread!!!

The food was amazing! Restaurant was clean & has cute decor. It was me & my friends first time there. I got chicken & waffles & she had shrimp & grits. Everything cooked fresh & great portion sizes for your money. Got my chicken tossed in honey hot sauce(yummy) & the waffles had a lil cinnamon taste (also yummy). Tried some of my friends food & I’ll definitely be getting it for myself next time! Their dinner options looked amazing as well! Best of all, they’re Black owned! So, Honey Joe Cafe will be seeing me again & I’m definitely recommending them!
