I decided to check out their new location after having nothing but great experiences with Honey Bay’s at their old Belvidere location in Waukegan, and I am glad that I did! I called in my order ahead of time and the lady on the phone was incredibly friendly. When I came in to pick up my order I was greeted by name when I walked through the door.

First time at the location they couldn’t even get my order correct. Didn’t give me a receipt and forgot to give me my pulled pork then told me they didn’t charge me for it. Could barely understand the staff. Rib tips were tough. Never going back

We ordered the Catfish dinner and the Footlong Hot Link (it was fat, didn’t expect that). I prefer my fries drenched in bbq sauce, but a cup was included on the side. Next time. I do recommend ordering your next meal here. Let’s make Honey Bay’s BBQ a community staple.

Our Daughter wanted bbq and we always like to try new places especially family owned businesses so we can support. We went to Honey bays bbq and they did not disappoint. I had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw which was so good. We also ordered wings, and catfish they all came with fries i orded a side of Mac n cheese as well. Owners were Amazing! We definitely will be back for dessert and to purchase some of their homemade bbq sauce. It is cash only so bring your money and support this family owned business

The food is over priced and wasn’t that good. The greens were dry and so was the cornbread. The ribs I ordered (the double extra large) was dry, and had very little sauce on it and was half the size as what Hillary gives you. My 3rd time going there and my last.

Had a small issue with a recent order but Honey Bay BBQ took care of me they reached out & asked to call in , WOW that’s a first for me and I was born & raised here and their the first to do this. I didn’t ask for replacement or refund but they really care about their customers by doing this , Thank You very much and keep up the Great work!!!
