Three of us had lunch here and the service was impeccable. They were extremely helpful teaching us the process (2 of us had not had hot pot), even going so far as to mix their recommended sauce combo for us. We probably ordered too many things (maybe 20 or so) and left VERY full. It is a fantastic and unique experience that forces you to eat slower and enjoy the process.

Homey exceeded my expectations. We lunched during the spring break of IU. Food came out rather quickly. The soup based was rich and I got all of these for the hot pot only $25. My friend went with all you can eat Sushi. Chatted with the owner – a lovely lady from my hometown province. Will definitely go back!

All you can eat style of hotpot with only a few dollars more for all you can eat sushi also! The sushi uses a lot of rice but it’s made fresh! There is also sashimi offered! The hotpot was good! There is a charge if there is food waste but that was not a problem! I think it would be nice to have more beef options. The bone broth is nice and light. The service was very good we got seated quickly but had called ahead to make sure a party of 4 was possible. The ambiance was good we got a nice booth table.

This was a delicious dinner! Homey Hot Pot provides a unique dining experience, where you get to cook your food in-front of you. The spicy broth was good and mixed with any vegetable or meat of your choice it makes for an amazing meal. There is also an option for unlimited sushi on top of your hot pot, which only makes this meal better. It is impossible to leave here not full. The food was great, and the staff was on the same level as the food. They continuously came around filling up water, broth, and asking if we needed anything. I highly recommend eating here!

Staff was very friendly and explained the process of hot pot to us, as we were total virgins. I felt bad for the guy, because he got 3 more tables who had no idea what they were in for. In short, you chose a broth base ( I went for the green clam) and then you select the foods you want to cook in your broth. They load you up! The ingredients are both fresh and delicious and eventually, your broth will assume the flavor of the things you have been cooking. I might have ordered the lamb twice in one sitting, which left me with the most delectable broth at the end. They have a sauce station where you can combine different sauces, to dip your food in(I am obsessed with the seafood sauce and fresh garlic, combined). The bathrooms were also extremely clean! All in all, if you don’t mind paying for great food and a fun experience, this place is definitely worth checking out!

Favorite / best Hot Pot in Bloomington. Staff is so very helpful and explains everything needed to enjoy your meal. Their base stocks/broths are so very delicious. Sauce bar offers opportunity to explore new and adventurous mixtures to go alongside your own personal Hot Pot meal. I’ve been here four times and will keep coming back!

I am so sad that I did not know about this place sooner or I would have came here when they opened 2 years ago. Great service, nice comfortable atmosphere, and most importantly…great tasting quality food! This was my first time here so I will definitely come back and be a regular. This place has exceeded my expectations. I did not expect it to be this good. A wide variety of food options to choose from and generous portions. The price is not bad either. I got the all-you-can eat hot pot and sushi for 21.99. I had a $1 coupon off so it was around $22. I would tell you what I ordered but I got so many food items, I forget! Lol I asked our server how many options I could get for each category and he said “As many as you want” I knew at that moment it was about to be a wrap! They even gave my friend and I a VIP card for 5% off next visit since it was our first time. Be sure not to waste your food. There’s a 8.99 lb food waste charge. But that wasn’t a problem for us. We ate it all! I highly recommend this place to anyone. The price is good for what they serve you. As you can see from my pictures, there was a lot of food but more food came on top of that. I just couldn’t wait to dive in so I had to put the phone away. Thank you Homie hot pot for an exceptional experience! You made my week!

Wonderful food and delightful staff in a modern, beautiful dining room. The price is a little high but worth it. Unlimited good quality sushi plus a personal pot of savory boiling soup to cook your own selection of unlimited meats, veggies, and noodles. My favorite was the giant sauce bar for you to make your own personalized dipping concoction. The vibe is much like the fondue joints of yore. I love puttering and tweaking flavor combos, so this was a dream come true. They just kept bringing me big piles of whatever I wanted, and all good quality ingredients. I had a blast. This place is a lot of fun.
