I wish I could’ve left a better review but I was very disappointed. We were ordering steak and jollof rice, and this one single cube is what we received. Nobody pays $2.49/per cube of steak, not including the taxes lol, it’s not good value or business.

My companion and I ventured into African Food Factory on a relaxed Saturday at 4 pm. The place wasn’t bustling, which set a nice, cozy mood. But don’t be in a rush; the kitchen takes its time to prepare your meal.

Sadly disappointed. My husband and I were eyeing this spot since we saw it driving through downtown Homewood. We tried this place today. I ordered jollof rice with chicken which was 18.99 and a side of beef for 6.99. There was an abundance of rice in the plate and three small pieces of chicken one of which was all bone. For the side of beef, it was one small chunk of beef which was insane for 6.99. I don’t know if they were trying to stretch the food as it was two hours before closing when I went. The taste of the food was just okay. For $30 it was not worth it to me. They are new and just opened so they are probably still figuring things out. Overall experience just was not great.
