We were so excited to try this pizza especially after reading the reviews. We ordered a small and individual so we could sample a variety. Once received, I had to recheck our online order to see if we ordered a specialty crust such as gluten-free or cauliflower. We didn’t. The toppings were amazing and plentiful. Unfortunately, the crust and sauce were underwhelming. The crust reminded us of the frozen pizzas from HS. I didn’t see anything mentioned the pizzeria used frozen dough but the dough’s texture was like cardboard.

Burn After reading
We enjoy hometown a lot. This was our first time at this location something was off w the pizza. We go to the cox’s creek location often. Could not quite put my finger on it. Only issue we had was. That we were sat in the back by ourselves which is fine. Our waitress kept forgetting about us. She apologized profusely. She did seem very sweet

Walked in around 6pm. 7-8 employee working not really busy but told it would be 10-15 minute wait. Some of the employees were standing there talking. No meeting at the door or any kind of acknowledgement to us just that…. Will have to think twice about driving the 1/2 hour to that restaurant ever again. My Arby’s was delicious!!!!

I love this pizza but my two recent orders were wrong. I ordered the vegetable pizza with NO olives. I hate them. I got home and it was like they had put extra olives. I must have picked off 25 or more of them. Today I ordered the same pizza. I checked before I left and made sure there weren’t any olives and I was thrilled that there weren’t. But as I’m eating, I found pieces of ham on it lol. It was still absolutely delicious but I think they need to be a little more careful when they’re cooking.

For a chain restaurant, Hometown Pizza has some of the best pizza around. They truly do. When I got there with my date, the building was packed full of people. I waited 10 mins and got an open table. The service was great and the staff made sure that my date and I were taken care of. The pizza was hot and delicious. At the end of the night they gave us a box for the food to go. I highly recommend this place.

Went here last night for dinner. The food was awful and the service was worse. My food was cold and the the other food was overcooked. Everything tasted like it was frozen or out of a can with no seasoning added. The breadsticks were good, so if you have to get something, get those. We won’t be back.
