Great family place for home style cooked meals! Great atmosphere, pleasant, friendly clients. Excellent service! Never met the chef or cooks there though. Come on in for Great meals at very reasonable prices! Guaranteed you’ll love it. Won’t be able to stay though. Did I mention the cocktails and other beverages? Great Seafood specials always on the menu. Food is above average and service is top notch. They give you hot rolls and pumpkin bread with dinner. The cornbeef dinner a few weeks ago was the best I ever had. Prices are great. Nothing is overpriced. Hometown is a sleeper restaurant in Tolland County.

This was absurdly good. This place is basically like when you’re watching a movie about New England and they show the local restaurant. The food was insanely good and fresh (I had the fried chicken, which the waitress had recommended and was very good and a huge portion), they give you pumpkin bread at your table, and the service was exceptional. I’ve lived the next town over from here for 7 years and am shocked I never knew this existed; will definitely be back!

The kids meals are a bit over priced for what you get, $10.99 for a kid’s spaghetti and 1 meatball. Everything is seriously under seasoned and bland. Steak wasn’t very good at all and had to slather A1 all over to eat it. Their chicken Parmesan was good.

Walked in Sunday at Noon for lunch. I was asked if I was having breakfast or lunch. I happily said whatever the diner is currently serving. The response was it’s supposed to be lunch however they cannot serve lunch because the have 9 breakfast tickets left. So I happily said I’ll order breakfast then which I was then told they need to stop taking breakfast tickets. So I was left with no options so I drank my $3 iced tea and left.

Breakfast…plenty of seating…lighting is kind of dark but the dark wood decor contributes to that.resataurant eating area was clean…as for food…my hash browns were undercooked…kind of mushy…my veggie omelet was filled nicely…could have been better with fresh veggies but still good…multigrain toast was very good…my husbands hash browns were nice and crispy….his scrambled eggs cooked perfect…all in all a decent breakfast…just don’t understand the difference in hash browns or should I call then home fries………this is the first time we have stopped there since the pandemic started…will be back for another try…
