My family and I visited this restaurant for the first time as my brother was staying in the hospital just down the street for surgery. Overall, the experience was incredibly average. The food while in a solid abundance for the price was not particularly flavorful but was not bad either. Likely to cater to the at least from my experience elderly clientele, I’d imagine things aren’t seasoned too heavily to keep complaints low. In any case, the fried chicken that I personally ordered was decent. The crispness was present but ultimately lacked any seasoning other than likely just salt and pepper. Thankfully there was hot sauce on the table to rectify this. In addition, the service was a bit slow. Our waitress came to our table a whopping three times during our entire visit. Granted, the place was busy it still should be appreciated if the wait staff actually came and checked on things such as drinks during the meal instead of immediately afterwards while you are paying. My final criticism comes from the size of the booth tables. It’s just not comfortable in any way for four people to sit at. Personally, I’d probably not return just because it was just an overwhelmingly average experience

Ok, I had a hankering for pancakes and was drop by here. The pancakes were HUGE!! But the flavor wasn’t noteworthy. The diner is aged but has all the nuances of an old school diner. The people were friendly but kind of served the regulars more than a newcomer like me.

We went for breakfast and it was very busy. Service was good and the food was great. We had the skillets, they were so flavorful and plentiful. We are looking forward to going back for their lunch in the future.

They got the crust on the corned beef hash right! The grits were my favorite; so savory and buttery. Server was friendly and attentive. Our food arrived in under 15 minutes with a full house. Will be returning.

It’s a great place for breakfast. The diner is old but the food is good. Staff are great. I always get eggs, toast and bacon. Coffee is a bit weak but it’s coffee.

On here for vacation and thought we’d try a small Mom and Pop type place to eat but as it turns out it wasn’t much going on.. very outdated decor, old carpeting and the food wasn’t good especially for the prices.. will not go back when come back up this way next year…..
