The service was fine. The food was good with plenty of hefty portions to enjoy. Just didn’t enjoy the atmosphere itself I suppose. It felt overly political with a side of xenophobia. I, myself, am conservative, but I like to enjoy a meal without being reminded of the current hateful state our nation is in. Go with God and let people be.

Our Go To Spot! Breakfast all day. No matter what time of day we go, customers are always in and out fast. Friendly servers. Foods good. Great assortment of menu items presented. Specials of the day. I love the catfish strips and Melts the most, my husband is a sucker for the All Meat Skillet, 1 lb Cheeseburgers, and Tenderloins.

I had a cheeseburger and fries at this restaurant, and it was probably the best cheeseburger I have ever had at a restaurant. The waitress, Katie, had it made exactly to order, as I like. I asked for heavy pickle and got about half a jar of pickles on the side!!! That was good! Katie was a great waitress, something often missing at restaurants these days. She paid attention, filling needs before I asked. Excellent!

My husband and I love the Hometown Cafe! Melissa and the other waitresses are so warm, friendly, and hard working. We normally get the early bird breakfast but today got the country skillet which is also wonderful! I’ve also tried their omelette which is very healthy and great tasting and even better to know they use eggs out-of-the-shell for their omelettes …and not the carton eggs (Ew). We highly recommend this restaurant for good quality home style food.

Great place! Breakfast is served all day, which makes my husband very happy. My family has been several times, and tried various things from the menu as well as special of the day items. Everything has been good, and service has been great, even on the most crowded days.

The portions are HUGE and it is well worth the money. I have not ordered alot of different things from here but we order it for lunch sometimes and everyone’s food looks delicious. I woukd recommend the chicken tender pony with jalepenoes and mushrooms. Excellent!! I might add my son and I went to lunch there at 1pm in the afternoon and there was only 1 table available. That’s a good sign for a popular experience.

The first thing you see when you walk in the door is a giant sign that says something like “we aren’t politically correct, we say merry Christmas!”… so if a virtue signal as soon as you walk in is something you like, then you will feel right at home. There isn’t anything special about this place, you know what you are signing up for after you walk past that sign. Some modestly priced mediocre food, nothing to write home about.
