This was the first time we had stopped at the new location and we were glad we did. Love the new place and especially the patio seating. Every table had a little vase of fresh flowers. We arrived about 11:30 thinking we would beat the lunch crowd.Wrong! Parking was scarce, but we were seated immediately. The place was packed.

I didn’t figure when I ordered Mac and Cheese at a “home cookin” restaurant that I’d get Velveeta shells and cheese. The mashed potatoes were disappointing, too. Every other table got bread. When we asked we were told that you don’t get it unless you ask for it even though it’s included with the meal on the menu. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

first time visiting Homer’s and it did not disappoint. Our server was super friendly and made sure that we had everything that we needed (even gave us some great recommendations too) The food was fantastic. Sorry for the half eaten sandwich in the picture, but I couldn’t wait to dig in!

This place was just what I was looking for. Fresh ingredients, well prepared with subtle but clear twists to conventional recipes. The restaurant is super clean. My waitress was absolutely perfect- attentive but not overbearing. The atmosphere has a taste of sophistication but is not at all stuffy. Such a great experience!

Oh my goodness. Their cornbread tastes like it was made by angels. Definitely try it! The banana pudding is amazing. Staff is super friendly and fast cooo times.

Today I had catfish, baked potato, and corn. The menu claimed the fish was U.S raised. I can GUARANTEE by the flavor that this was not. The baked potato wasn’t anywhere near done I had 1 bite and decided that was enough it was hard as a rock. My corn was very bland. Almost no flavor whatsoever. Also someone in the back I guess spilled gravy of some sort all over my fish before they brought it. Maybe this was intentional to try to disguise the fact that the catfish tasted like lake water I’d be willing to bet it was some cheap Vietnamese “catfish”. What they lacked in food they did NOT make up for with service. Our waitress said maybe 5 words the entire time we were there. Never came by to check on us, ask how our food was. Or anything. This was my first and last visit here.

Homer’s kitchen was a fantastic experience. We had a party of 9 with two young children and they were patient and gracious during our entire meal. Carol, our waitress, was wonderful. Easily the best customer service I’ve had in years.
