There is no other place to eat breakfast in Sweet Home! Friendly staff, generous portions, good coffee, they have it all. I didn’t know what to expect walking in. It exceeded All my expectations a hundredfold. Very impressed. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you home Sweet Home Cafe for making my family feel like family.

Service was friendly and fast but I personally was not a fan of the breakfast burrito stuffed with frozen home fries and not a lot of flavor. It would have been better served with their fresh salsa I saw on the menu but didn’t try. They also have a great selection of loose leaf teas not listed on the menu I would have loved to try but didn’t see until after breakfast. Overall good prices and selection of food. Perhaps other items are more favorable than the burrito. I’m personally a 3 optimstic you’ll be a 4…

Personally for me I like this restaurant they have the best gravy in town. Homemade they DO NOT get it out if a can. And when they feed you they feed you. When you eat there trust me you’ll be getting your money’s worth. How do I know this all. I ate there the other day and had the biscuits and gravy and I love that dish. I eat that all the time and do finish but when I had this one. I only finished about half cause it was so,filling. So,I suggest that you guys try out this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic little buisness. For those of you leaving bad review s about service, they are in training! Cafe helps enrich the community so at their next job they will be good servers. Even still my service is always pretty good. Food is wonderful with huge portions for the price and the owner always has something cool going on. Had the big eaters club there, and a lady running for Congress another time (don’t remember her name just that I wouldn’t vote for her). Anyways five stars!

Food was decent but they have THE WORST service. One of the servers who’s a male had no idea what was going on and kept ignoring customers to draw in the back and also forgot to give out menus. The girl took our order then we had to wait 20 minutes before she came back to tell us they did not have the food we ordered because they were out. We then had to sit and wait longer before my boyfriend went up to see if his food was done because he just got a sandwich and we didn’t decide to order anything else only to find out it had been sitting there for awhile waiting for their server to bring it out. Even other customers there were talking about how for a family business you think they would care more about customer service. Would not come back or recommend to anyone.

My wife and I stopped in. At first it looked like the place was closed however, we went in and sat down. Service was very fast as within about the 1st 5 minutes we had our drinks on the table and our order into the kitchen. I had the ultimate omelet and it was fanfriggintastic. It was swollen with meats and veggies. Very flavorful and not greasy. Darn near the perfect omlete. I am assuming this is a family establishment and they have teen and pre-teen members who are taking orders and delivering them to the table. They we extremely professional and good for them. I think more people their age should be working as well. We will definitely be back!

Food cook to order. Had a sign saying it was a mother, daughter team and food would take 20-30 mins. Wasn’t a problem for us but a few people just got up and walked out. Great spot after a camping trip or fun on the water! Just be patient and good things happen.

Wish I could post no stars. The waitress had no formal training was wearing stained sweat pants and ratty sweatshirt. Ordered for meals and it took 45 mins until we were told that we should be getting our food shortly. 15 mins later food came out cold. There was only 2 other people eating busy had no factor. When we mentioned the hour wait all we got was sorry new cook. Not even anything back to help relive the complete and udder frustration

The family that owns this restaurant tries to do a lot of wonderful things for the community. They’re always taking donations for worthy causes. They’ve even tried starting their own non-profit organization to help the homeless and under privileged youth in Sweet Home. They lack all the necessary funds they need but are trying the best with what they have. It would be nice if someone could help them get the grants they need.
