This place is adorable. I had the French toast with a side of sausage and my husband had a fish sandwich with tater tots and fried okra. It was very good for the price. Our waitress was great and incredibly friendly. We will be back.

I absolutely love this place me and my granddaughter stumbled in here Saturday waiting for The Fuzzy Cow to open lol. Yes thats the real name lol. The food at Home Folks Cafe was great I loved the atmosphere. Definitely will be back with my husband.

Went during breakfast time with the family. My wife ordered a tenderloin sandwich on toast. The tenderloin was thin and was only covering half the bread. I brought this to our waitress’s attention thinking it was just a mistake and was told this was correct and if I wanted another piece it would 2.50 more. I ask to speak with someone in charge and spoke with the owner. I addressed her as ma’am and explained my concerns. I showed her the sandwich and she said I could buy another piece. She was rude and would hardly speak with me. Her staff was great and provided good service, but if this is how the owner conducts business I will refrain from spending money at her business.

I’m only giving it three stars because of staff! The people that own the place and the staff are amazing inviting people… I think this place has potential but needs a serious update in atmosphere! The dishes that are served with the food aren’t very inviting and food presentation needs help….. Downtown Cherryville is up and coming and I think this place needs to keep up with the times….. ♀️
