Great place to go with your family or friends while in the area. The customer service was great and they were all very personable. I liked that I was able to order from the menu at the front and then choose my own seat. They were able to answer all of my allergen questions, since I am celiac I have to be very careful, and they had a wide variety of gluten free food. No gluten free buns or bread, but the platters were primarily safe. The food it’s self was fantastic, it was the best bbq I’ve had in a very long time. Everything was fresh and came out very quickly! Reccomend to try if your looking for some great food.

The owner Mike took the time to come out and ask us how everything was and share some stories with us. The staff was so friendly, we were only there for a night so so were not able to make it back to get some of his wife’s home made fudge, but we did try a bite and it was amazing. Would highly recommend. Good food good people, felt like home.

We had a delicious dinner tonight. We are staying across the road from them and could smell their smoker every time we drove by. We went over for dinner tonight and it did not disappoint. We were warmly greeted immediately upon entering. The young lady that took our order was very kind and our food was quickly brought out to us. The deck has an amazing view and lots of tables. There are plenty of options on the menu and the prices are reasonable. My husband and I were both impressed by their BBQ sauce selection. I like sweet and he likes spicy/savory, we usually can only find one or the other, but they had something for both of us.

What a gem. Amazing down home cooking, even creamy homestyle mac n’ cheese for my boy. The coleslaw was AhMayZing. Never had it with Dill. Soooo good.

Stopped in for a quick bite and loved everything about it. The amazing BBQ smell is what got us inside but wow everything else was so good too, and great views! Some favorites were pulled pork, brisket, coleslaw and my absolute favorite was the loaded potato salad….wow! Never had anything like it. Hubby had a shake, they have 36 flavors and it was delicious. They also have really good BBQ sauces, many different varieties from sweet heat to mustard to low carb spicy vinegar. They also have gifts like beech mountain t-shirts, coffee mugs, and homemade fudge! We’re only 1.5 hrs away and will definitely be stopping in again.

We were really excited to try this place.ordered two brisket sandwiches with a side and our Son ordered a hot dog. The brisket was so tough I recommend that it be removed from the menu. If kept on the menu call it beef Jerky. When the employee said the brisket was cooked on charcoal that’s when I was done. Not how brisket is cooked!
