Everything from the time the owners took our order, even gave me a tour of there pits and talked about getting everything squared away for our wedding in October. I had every piece of meat on their menu and was HIGHLY IMPRESSED FOLKS!!!!!! Absolutely can not wait for my next experience at HOLY SMOKE BBQ!!!! The chopped brisket is on point. Melts in your mouth, wings ’s are most delicious and juicy, only smoked the way chicken wings should be cooked. , thanks again for the amazing experience today and being part of the community!!!!

We liked the ribs and wings. The brisket was a bit too fatty. Sausage was just ok, could’ve been sliced thinner. Same with the pickles. I’ll be generous and give 4 stars because it’s close to my house.

I had the pleasure of stopping by Holy Smoke BBQ while in town and was thoroughly impressed. The food (I had the Philly Cheesesteak) was absolutely phenomenal, prepared with care, and made with good quality ingredients all while being very reasonably priced. I was helped, served and out the door in about 10 minutes and would immediately recommend this place to anyone I know.

Holy Smoke is the perfect name for this BBQ joint because it’s holy good! Made a trip from South KC to try it out after a family member posted his meal on Facebook. I’m not gonna lie, it was well worth it! The ribs are tender with the perfect amount of seasoning. The ribs tips barely made it home because they were delicious! Philly Cheese Steak was so good, my son raved about it with every bite! I highly recommend this heavenly place!

Ok Kansas City, there’s a new BBQ Wizard in town an his name is Jeron Slater an him an his wife Nykita own an operate along with their family Holy Smoke BBQ. I seen a news article on fox4 talking about thier grand opening an couldn’t wait to give them a try . My wife an i went there Saturday Dec. 3rd for lunch . We both had the CG BRISKET MELT something we have never heard of.

Bought a full slab of ribs and burnt ends rib tips , they were burnt and dry and Ham and turkey and sausage was good but warm . They forgot the BBQ sauce forgot the pickles , didn’t give my receipt didn’t realize until I was driving home. Spent $111. 00 dollars on dry ribs and burnt ends. I wouldn’t go back.

It reminds me if going to the shacks in the delta of Mississippi. No seating really, just pick up and go and it’s definitely worth the ride. The fact that they actually serve rib tips will have me there as long as we are stationed here. 3 years and I just now find good quality bar b que. Hands down no one in Kansas or Missouri has anything on them in my opinion. I’ve been saying how overrated the bar b que is here but this lil spot is a diamond in the rough.
